Chapter 41

Liza is angered and upset over what had just occured, she goes to the bathroom first to collect herself. She stares into the bathroom mirror and tells herself she is better than this. Her heart is beating quickly and she notices the markings on her neck singnalling her emotional state, feelings of anger and embarrassment threaten to spill over. She splashes water on her face in attempt to calm down ,she gives herself a pep talk in attempt to remind herself of her worth, she needed to get out , she needed to get to her car and just in silence for a moment away from Tim , away from work and definitely away from Jack. She wanted to disappear from the world and never to return.

Liza exits the bathroom trying to remain calm and collected , she makes her way towards the elevator and selects the basement as she tries to steady her breaths. The descent to the basement feels like it is taking longer than normal which grows her fury more. She began aimlessly scrolli
