Ch 21

Max's POV

"What?", I blurted out.

"Yes, Young Alpha", one of the men breathed out. "Gerald's men have been in charge of the barricade construction all along and when the Alpha found out, he instructed us to go there"

He instructed me to go there too... Did he hear something already?

"And so what is presently making you say that there is an invasion?", I asked.

"When we got there, we saw Gerald's men discussing with men on horses and..."

"Get the people into the citadel, now!", I commanded not allowing him to conclude and everyone immediately moved into action. "Someone should mind link the Gamma and tell him what is going on, tell him I said he should prepare the army", I yelled then called back one of the men who brought the news. "Lead me to where they are"

"Young Alpha! You can't go alone, it's a full army", he protested.

"We have to keep them busy long enough to get the people into the citadel, there's no time to consider ourselves right now!"

"Young Alpha"

"Move, now!", I growled
