Max's POV

I sighed tiredly as I arrived in front of my office after the long meeting and flipped the door open.

"Wait a minute", I muttered on entering the room and frowned.

Where the hell was Shayna? Has the party ended already? That is very much unlike her.

"Or did that bitch annoy Shayna?", I pondered out loud and immediately tried to mind-link Shayna but her wolf was shut off.

Minutes later, I was laying down on my bed now in my room at the palace. I still haven't gotten through to Shayna or seen her but that was the least of my problems right now.

I just need a good rest.

'You must take me for a fool to think I would believe such a thing!', I remembered once I closed my eyes. I still couldn't believe that bitch had said that to me, she doesn't know what I have already planned for her.
