I opened my eyes and at first everything was blurry to me

　　I closed my eyes and opened it again to see a doctor beside me and Vida was sitting on my right hand side

　　"She's awake!! Vida says as she stood up and walked towards me

　　"Am I still alive? I asked her

　　"Yes mam, this is Doctor Fern" she says and I nodded

　　"I will take my leave now, prescribe the drug to her" The doctor said and Vida nodded

　　"Thanks, sure I will" Vida blushes

　　I scoffed and took my eyes off her

　　"Who brought me in here?

　　"The guards did, mam you shouldn't have done that, he would have killed you" she said and I nodded

　　"Where is my phone?

　　"It's damaged, I ordered a new phone for you"

　　"Is there a music room here? I asked standing up

　　I stare at myself in the mirror and I could hardly recognize myself, my body were full of scars

　　"Yes mam"

　　"Show me"

　　All through my life I had always wanted to be a super star, a musician but here I am ending up as a mistress

And all I could think of right now, at this my situation was music.. to suff my worries away.

　　I pulled out at Zachery's house as I got down and walked to the door

　　"Do you have an appointment with him sir? The guards asked and i nodded

　　"You wait here" One of them said and I watched her placed a call on Zachery

　　"You can go in now"

　　"Did you get the files? Zachery asked as I slipped on my white wine

　　"Yes,here it is" I said handing it over to him as he stare at it carefully

　　"This is not the file!! He yelled shattering it

　　"What? What do you mean this is not the file? I asked and he stared at me

　　I stared at the music equipments and I couldn't help but smile

　　I know I should be crying now but for how long? Music is the only thing that gives me joy and took my sorrows away.

I have lived for music, Music is my only happiness. The only source of my joy. 

　　I sat on the chair as I connected the head phone on my ears then slowly pressed the piano

　　I stopped and smiled, I need a sad song to take my sorrow away

　　I closed my eyes as I tried to remember the song my father used to sing when ever he was sad

　　I stopped singing it after he died cause it remember me a lot about him but now I want to sing it cause I needed him

　　I breathed out slowly as I pressed the piano tiles once more

　　"Mam" Vida tapped me and opened my eyes to stare at her

　　"What? Can't you see am busy? I yelled

　　"Am sorry mam but your phone have been ringing for a while now" she bowed

　　I sighed and stood up as I collected the phone from her and picked the call

　　"Babe!! You haven't call me since your wedding ,do you hate me that much? That instant I knew it was Fidra my friend

　　"Am sorry" I mumbled as I dry my face and walked out of the music room

　　"You're always forgiven,A Contract music is coming up tomorrow this is your Chance to showcase your talent" she said happily and I scoff.

I was supposed to be happy, I was supposed to jump up and shout. This is what I always wanted right? But my fate already decided to make my life miserable

　　"Why? This is your dream baby you have to"! She yelled

　　"My monster husband won't allow me"

　　"What do you mean monster? She asked and covered my mouth with my palm immediately

　　"Did I said that? It's a mistake"

I wished I could tell her everything. Everything, I badly needed someone to talk to.

　　"Don't lie to me Sera are you okay? I asked your mother about you last time I saw her before she went out of town and she said I should call you instead"

　　"Excuse me? She's out of town? I asked suddenly stops walking

　　"Yes, you didn't know? Sera is there anything you are not telling me?

　　"No, no am fine let's talk later" I said and disconnected the call as I sighed

　　"How am I to tell her all this now?

　　I shake my head negatively , I can't tell her about this

　　I just can't tell her, this is my battle I don't want anybody getting involved with it

　　I continued walking slowly as I was lost in thoughts

　　My mother went out of town?

　　All the days I was with her she knew no where outside the town so where could she had gone to?

　　I bump into someone making my phone and that of the person to fall

　　"Am sorry" I apologized as I picked it up

　　"Is okay" He replied as I hand him over the phone

　　He smiled and collected the phone "Am Manson, your husband's colleague"

　　I scoff at the thought of husband

　　I nodded "Am Sera" I says to him and walked out

　　But one thing was amiss and suspicious about him

　　Why is he staring at me like that? And licking his lips?
