"You said what?!" Anna exclaimed after listening to my explanation. "You were cruel with your words, girl."

"Huh? Really?" I scrunched up my face, blinking guiltily.

"Of course. Those words would definitely hurt anyone. Even a person with an iron heart would be hurt," she said.

"I didn't mean to hurt him. I... I just didn't want to have sex with him while his brother and I are still legally together. If people find out about it, it won't just be seen as cheating on his brother alone, but my reputation would be tarnished. How can I be fit to lead the pack with him when the time comes? Will people still respect me after the scandal?" I asked, trying to make her see reason with me.
