Chapter 20

Aria

I woke up as light rays of sunlight fell on my face.

I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Hunter's face, he was facing me. He seemed to be in a deep doze.

His skin was glowing and his dark hair shone like silk as the sunlight caressed them ever so slightly. As my gaze traveled down, I took time to notice his muscles and protruding veins that were visible on his arm.

Wait! His hand was...resting on my waist.

My lips parted in realization and I began pondering over what to do.

I did not know why I did not want to wake him up from his slumber; Maybe because he looked so peaceful in sleep or maybe I was liking this view a little too much than I should have.

A few of his hair strands fell over his forehead as he moved a bit in his sleep, resting his hand now lower--On my hip.

My hand moved on its own to brush the hair strands from over his forehead and whilst doing so I realized how soft his hair was.

He was indeed perfect.
