Adelia's Point of View

“Get out, Nessa,” Siya growled again and the girl shrunk into herself.

My eyes narrowed at him.

“If she goes, then so do you,” I replied, keeping my chin high.

There was a spark in his eyes. A little more light entered them. As if he was caught by surprise.

“You don’t want to know why she is my sister?” He asked me pointedly.

Nessa’s eyes hurried between the two of us. Scanned each of us with the same amount of apprehension. Like I was the same person as him. As if I could ever fucking be.

Shrugging, I sat upright. Crossed my arms over my chest. “Well, I assume when a mommy wolf loves a daddy wolf very much-“

“Can we keep her?” Nessa asked, face breaking into a large smile.

Siya sighed. Pinched the bridge of his nose. “Go find father. Or anyone else. I would like to talk to Adelia alone.” He urged.

The girl stood her ground.

“Like she said, if I go, so do you,” Nessa stated and smiled deviously at her brother.
