Amelie POV

I turn around and the woman moves towards me grabbing my arm and pulling me closer to her. “Now you and I are going to take a quick walk down the hall and out the door to the waiting SUV,” she says as she tugs me along.

“Wait,” I say looking to the nurse. “Drop the needle,” I say to her. “What?” she asks. “Drop the needle now and step on it,” I say. She does what I ask and the needle with the poison in it is broken. Satisfied I look towards the woman, “Okay, I am ready,” I say.

She smirks before moving forward and looping her arm through mine “Now do as you are told and nobody will get hurt,” she threatens. I am pulled forward towards the door. The guard opens the door and I notice the hallway is deserted. “It is amazing what people will do when they think their Luna is not in control,” she murmurs as we walk down towards the door with the guard close on our heels.

I look around for opportunities to escape this crazy woman, but nothing is presenting itself. I need
