In the chilly midnight a muscular and tanned body was sprawled at the bed with the sheets covering the body till the torso. The masculine body was clearly showing the hard work that man does daily to maintain his body. He was sleeping soundly and suddenly a knock erupted on the door of his room but it didn't bother the man sleeping at the bed.

Another knock appeared at the door and it was enough for his deep slumber to break. He groaned when the sound of knocking fell into his ears and he shuffled at his place. He tried to sleep again shrugging all the things but then the knocks became constant which annoyed him and he sprang up from his bed.

Getting down he took large steps towards the door of his room and opened it with a loud thud ready to yell at the person who disturbed his precious sleep but the person who was at the other side of the door pushed his at his shoulder and walked passed him inside the room. That person flicked the lights of the room on blinding the eyes of that man.

"What are you doing here, father no. 2? Did your lovely wife threw your annoying self out of the room again?" the man said annoyingly which was enough for Emiliano to slap him and he did, he slapped his at the back of his head making the man groan.

"First of all stop mentioning me my number and secondly behave." Emiliano said strictly to his son making him sigh.

"Sorry father E, but can you please kindly tell me, this time for how many days you have decided to stay in my room?" Agustin asked showing him his tired eyes because he was tired of spending his whole day in the court room fighting against a criminal who tried to rob an old lady and attempted to murder her.

Agustin Fernandez, the son of the Fernandez brothers and Vanessa was an infamous advocate of the city and sometime he gets specially invited from other cities to fight their cases because he never looses and the lawyers who fights against him ends up loosing everytime.

He was absolutely perfect in his job due to his sharp mind and 'reading a person' skills. The brothers didn't want their son to get involved in the underworld and become dirty and cruel like them. They didn't want him to force to be in this world just like their father. Once Agustin told them that he wanted to be an advocate and fight for the right things legally and they supported him in achieving his dream.

He was the very own and good Advocate who fights for the right and innocents but he chose to help his fathers in their underworld business too. Whenever they are too busy with something and get some work from far away or a different country then Agustin was the one to handle that work and he try to keep it as much as legal as possible. Besides The Fernandez brothers didn't do illegal things which can cause some serious harm.

"Until your mama again gets in talking terms with me." Emiliano shrugged carelessly and adjusted his pillow at Agustin's bed without any care in the world.

Agustin was watching him from the door with his arms crossed over his chest. He was annoyed by Emiliano coming to stay into his room after every second week whenever Vanessa throws him out of their room because Emiliano engages him in his deep conversations and then falls asleep leaving him wide awake.

"Fine you can stay here but don't talk anything with me, father E." Agustin said sighing and dropped his tired body at the bed. He always gets tired playing the job of an advocate and the son of mafia bosses too but he was content and happy to have a family and supporting parents.

He thinks he can't get any more lucky than he already was getting the best parents in the world. First he was a little confused and awkward that why he has three fathers when normally everyone got one father and he got teased a lot in his school days for it but whenever he used to see the love between his parents all of his doubts and complaints used to vanish away in the air.

He understood that nothing matters to him more than his happy family. Many times he had heard how the parents of his friends used to fight a lot and some of them got separated too. When he used to see his family he felt proud that at least he doesn't have a normal family but they are happy together and keeps his happy too despite of the dark business his fathers do and it was enough for him to accept his family just like it was.

There was pin drop silence in the room and only the sound of both of their breathing could be heard and the both of them knew that they were wide awake so Emiliano decided to start a conversation before the sleep comes to them.

"So? How's the work going?" he asked her looking at the ceiling in the dark above him.

"Fine, today I won again and felt happy for the saved old woman." Agustin said with a small smile playing at his lips which Emiliano also has soon at his lips.

"That's great and always remember we all are proud of you." Emiliano said encouraging him and gave him words of assurance which he and his brothers never got from their parents.

"Thank you. How's your work going?" Agustin also asked him back because he was too busy in his case that he forgot to check on the underworld business.

"It's going smooth for now but we are getting some information about the abduction and trafficking of women. If the information proves out to be true then you will have to leave for there and save the innocents from there." Emiliano said through his clenched jaw hoping the information shouldn't be true because he didn't even want to imagine the girls being abducted and auctioned.

"To where all the women are being trafficked?" Agustin asked just to be prepared beforehand because he won't waste a single second in saving all the innocents.

"America and mostly of them are from Spain so you better be quick before we gets too late." Emiliano told him in his cold tone and Agustin also understood the reason of the coldness in his voice.

They didn't want any single woman to be hurt and he wondered what magic his mother had done on their fathers that they have became too sensitive because as far as they told him about their old selves before meeting Vanessa he considered them as heartless and merciless bastards. But then he got to know the whole story and the Fernandez brothers in front of him were no where near their old selves which left him happy too.

"You just tell father A, to confirm whether the information is true or not and then leave everything on me." Agustin said with a determination in his blue orbs to save all the innocents.

"I already did that and he will tell us soon the accurate information." Emiliano said earning a curt nod from Agustin and again silence fell between them so this time Agustin tried to ask him something because he already had ruin his sleep and he will not let him sleep too.

"Why did mama throw you out of the room this time?" Agustin asked him playfully making him shook his head in denial and a small smile was at Emiliano's face.

"I told her she has gotten a little chubby which offended your sweet mama." Emiliano said with a sly smirk at his lips and Agustin chuckled at him.

"You don't leave any chance to annoy her. I have seen her old photos just a few inches increase doesn't makes her chubby." Agustin tried to defend his beloved mama.

"I know and even if she gets a lot fatter still I will love her the same. It's just I like to annoy her, to see her nose scrunched, to see a pout at her lips, to see her reacting aggressively at my statement." Emiliano said dreamily making Agustin to shake his head at his words.

"You know right, you sounds like a highschool teenager describing his crush?" Agustin asked him with a grin at his face knowing how much his fathers love his mama and he wishes to get a love story like them someday.

"Do you think I care? I just can't stop bragging about what she does to us and what wonders she has done after coming into our lonely lives." Emiliano said with so much love in his eyes while talking about Vanessa.

"I also consider myself lucky to have a beautiful family and fabulous parents like you." Agustin said with a content smile at his lips but didn't get any response from Emiliano.

He turned his face towards his face and saw his eyes closed which made him groan in annoyance. He covered Emiliano with the duvet and sighed looking at him.

"This annoying old man ruined my sleep and now himself is sleeping peacefully." Agustin said in utter annoyance and turned his back towards Emiliano trying to sleep but deep down he was happy that at least his family is living at its best but little did he know soon his happy family will catch someone's evil eyes.

"No, I don't. Even my mama tried to set me up on many dates as my match maker but none of them worked out." He said casually shrugging his shoulders but Innara didn't stop there. She voiced out the words in her mind loud and clear. "You don't seem like that." She said lowly again taking a sip of her drink and suddenly he was curious to know what she thinks about him. "Like what?" He asked her with mischief dancing in his eyes. "That you don't have a girlfriend. It seems like you have so many girlfriends." She said earning a loud chuckle from Agustín. He found her so adorable that he couldn't help himself from chuckling. "And why do you think like that, Señorita?" He asked her in his soft calming voice which comforted her and she decided to voice out her thoughts. "You look so good as if you are some model or came out of a magazine." She said making him amused for a while. A faint laugh escaped her lips—unfamiliar, small, but real. Agustín stilled for a moment and he felt l

The first rays of sunlight filtered through the gauzy curtains, casting golden stripes across the marble floor. A soft breeze drifted in from the half-open balcony door, carrying the distant scent of fresh bread and coffee from a café down the street. The atmosphere was so silent, but not like the one she used to love in. This silence was calming, peaceful and relaxing. Everything felt soothing as well as comfortable. Innara stirred gently. For the first time in what felt like forever, she hadn’t woken in a panic. No cold sweat. No pounding heart. Just quiet. Stillness. She turned on the other side trying to block away the golden light coming on her face, her face scrunched up slightly not used to waking up in such light but darkness. Suddenly realisation started to dawn upon her that she wasn't in that hell hole anymore. She blinked against the morning light, momentarily confused by the soft sheets, the warm duvet. Her hand instinctively moved to her belly—her little one was ca

Finally in the evening Agustín bid goodbye to his parents as it was getting late and it was getting dinner time also. As there wasn't any maid or helper in his apartment so he has to cook for Innara and himself. Even though Vanessa asked him to eat atleast something but he politely denied not wanting to eat when Innara must be waiting for him to return back. She must be hungry too.The evening air was cool and crisp when Agustín stepped out of his sleek black car, the lights of Madrid glowing softly behind him. The city buzzed faintly in the distance, but here, in the quieter corner of his luxury apartment complex, silence wrapped the air like a comforting shawl. He cautiously looked around for some danger even if his men were on duty in alarm. He entered the building with a swipe of his key card, shoulders relaxed but eyes alert—he had been gone only a few hours, but something tugged at his chest like gravity, pulling him home faster than he’d expected. It was something unknown becau

Finally Agustín reached the mansion and stopped the car right in front of the entrance. He stepped out, dressed sharply in dark slacks and a linen shirt, his injured shoulder now barely noticeable under the ease with which he moved. But his eyes were alert, always scanning — a habit formed from years of carrying power and surviving its consequences. He tossed the keys to the man standing beside him. As he walked up the stone steps, the grand doors were already opened by one of the staff. "Señor Agustín. Ellos te estan esperando en el jardin." the man said and bowed. (Translation: Mr. Agustín. They are waiting for you in the garden.) Agustín gave a short nod and walked through the familiar halls — filled with family portraits, heavy old chandeliers, and the scent of rosemary and fresh oranges. He walked inside the mansion entering into a luminous, open-concept loft in the heart of Madrid’s trendiest district. The space was a study in modern minimalism: expansive floor-to-c

Madrid, Spain. Just after dawn, the private jet sliced through the soft Spanish sky, its engines humming low and steady. As the aircraft touched down on the secluded airstrip just outside the city, the world outside was still bathed in the golden hush of early morning. It looked so pleasing to the eye and could calm one's heart. The weather and time zone was completely changed from New York. Inside the jet, Innara sat by the window, one hand resting gently on her swollen belly, the other clutching the thin shawl Agustín had placed over her shoulders during the flight. Her face was pale, her eyes quietly scanning the unfamiliar land, but there was a flicker of calm beneath the exhaustion. She was so nervous not knowing what her future holds for her. Agustín, seated across from her, didn’t speak much — not because he had nothing to say, but because he knew she needed silence more than words. He studied her out of the corner of his eye — the way her fingers trembled slightly, the b

New York, America. Two days later – the day of departure. The sky over New York was steel-grey, heavy with the promise of rain. A soft wind tangled the leaves on the pavement as luxury sedans waited quietly outside a discreet, high-walled safehouse tucked in the quieter part of the city. Inside, everything was in motion — quiet, calm, but purposeful. Agustin stood by the front window, dressed in a tailored black coat, his phone to his ear, giving one last confirmation to his team in Spain. His face was calm as always — but his eyes stayed sharp, scanning more than they showed. He’d been watching every door, every vehicle outside for hours now. Because he knew eyes were on him. And he knew why. For the last two days, his men had quietly reported signs of someone watching from afar — unmarked cars parked too long, strangers pretending to scroll on phones, a drone caught flying too close to the rooftop cameras. His enemy had noticed his presence in America, but he didn’t yet k
