Somehow The Demon Shadows found us before we could get too far. As much as I wished we could have gotten Bri farther away, it would be nice to get this over with so we wouldn't have to look over our shoulders. With the knowledge that someone was with Bri that could help protect her, I could focus on the matter at hand and get rid of the man who wished to claim my mate as his. We collided with the other pack, and I was sure it looked like a scene from a movie. The Demon Shadows were strong. I will give them that. But everyone has a weakness. It was just a matter of finding it. Wolves shifted just before they collided with one another. The once quiet cabin was now filled with the defining sounds of bones breaking, teeth snapping, deep snarling growls, and wolves howling in pain. Knowing Bri was safely hidden inside meant I could focus and not worry about her. It didn't go unnoticed that once The Demon Shadows attacked, their alpha ducked back into the woods. He was still close.
