Chapter 6

Moments later from the other door on the opposite side of the room opens and a tall, skinny, length man with a long white beard but completely bad head walked through the door grinning ear to ear. Bows his head and says "Alpha Kalina How wonderful to know you're alive and well. Well we're about to see if you're actually well considering the roughness these boys put you through. Mind them they seem to be raised in the barn and don't know how to treat guest properly I see." He chuckled at the end noticing the boys faces were turning red in embarrassment. "I'm Doctor Cage, I'm going to run a few test, take some blood and get an all together check up on you. Make sure everything is running right for you."He explained with a nice cheeky grin.

It felt like I was in there all day.

Rylin had left half way through all the test said he had some stuff to do around the pack house. If this was his pack house, then what did the one he said I came from looked like. This place was a literally castle.

"Okay we're all done but just sit tight why I get Alpha Rylin up here to run the test results with. Some of this stuff you probably won't know what I'm talking about." I raised an eyebrow at him, what did I think I was stupid.

Few minutes later Rylin comes by and tell Jordie to go run a few errands for him. Gave him a list and said to make it snappy.

"Alright Doc what's the diagnosis?" He said with a worried look on his face. He looks over at me and tries to make a smile but you could tell something was on his mind.

"Well looks like she's got a concussion which in pretty sure she knew that, her arm has a fracture on her humerous. Well just put in a cast until her first shift then she should be all healed up. The odd thing is, she has wolfsbane in here system and quite a bit of it. Considering y'all have had her for almost a month now. Do you know how that happened?"

Rylin looked intensely at me, almost look fearful, " No sir, we haven't given her anything but food and water."

"You mean garbage!" I retorted

"Look we at the garbage too. We were trying to lay low so the Rouges wouldn't find us." He snipped at me.

The Doctor fumbled through the paperwork," We'll I'll need to keep her over night to run some fluids and antibiotics through her system to flush it out. If she wasn't an Alpha of her standing she would be dead."

Rylin's mouth basically dropped. He looked at me as if in awe. "I'll stay with her, you got a room open with a couch?"

The doctor scurried through his computer and he nodded, "Good put us in that room." He looked at me, "Look you may not understand all of this or still even believe it but let the doctor do his thing. I'm going to meet Jordie and be back with some clothes and necessities for you."

I sneered at him, " You know I'm not a child I don't need a babysitter. I'm a big girl you ain't got to stay with me. Besides I barely even know you."

He grinned ear to ear, " You can say whatever you want but I'm staying. don't think you understand what flushing this out of your system is going to do. Wolfsbane is poison to us wolf's, you've got enough in your system that could've killed and regular pack member. Someone was trying to keep you from shifting." He truly seemed concerned for me.

Was my mom really trying to hide me so bad and hide me from who I truly was, that she was poisoning me to keep me subsided. I didn't think my mom would do suck a thing but I'm learning I may not if known the woman at all.

The doctor wheels me to another room as if I couldn't walk, honestly was nice. My body's so tired from this past month. My head still trying to wrap itself around my new reality.

We get into the new room. Not what I was expecting instead of a hospital bed, I had a huge queen size bed that felt like a cloud soft blankets and nice cushiony pillows. The couch that Rylin was going to lay one was a futon that looked like it had some nice cushioning on it. Not the normal futon you would see. The room had a beautiful view out the window of the mountains though it was dark now and all I say was the night sky with the moon almost full and the stars glistening through the dark purple sky. This place was breath taking. It had a bathroom the size of a small bedroom with a jacuzzi tub and huge walk in shower. I felt like I was staying in a five star hotel at this point.

The Doctor came back in with Rylin who had some actual food and it smelt so good. My mouth was starting to water. The thought of getting to eat something other than that garbage was making my eyes water in excitement.

Doctor came and hooked me up to the machine and started my fluids and antibiotics

"You can walk around just have to wheel this with you where ever you go." he said sternly. "I'll be back every few hours to check in on you and make sure you're reacting well." Looking at Rylin now,"Anything starts going wrong mindlink me and I'll be here in a jiffy."

Rylin nods his head, "Thanks doc." Turning his attention towards me now, he walks over and sets the food down in the table. He pulls out two steak dinners with bake potatoes, Green beans and a soft buttery roll. Hands me a tray with the food and I start to scarf in down one bite at a time.

"I got you some clothes in this bag along with some soap and hair stuff. Had mom write the list so that we would get you the right stuff." he kind of chuckled at the fact he couldn't figure out what girls used.

I waited until I swallowed the food in my mouth and gave him a swift thanks. After I finished eating, I felt super tired and could barely hold my eyes open. I drifted quickly to sleep.
