Chapter 5

I started to wake up to my body being lightly shook side to side like I was in a car. My head spinning and pounding still. I wonder how long this headache will last. I start to open my eyes and it's dark. I could barely see much my eyes were blurring everything, when I start to get sight that I'm in the back seat of a heavily tinted SUV. No longer tied up as I feel I can move my arms and legs. I start to sit up to see who's around me and if I can tell where we're going.

The SUV was made out like a Limo no one was in the back but me but a window blocked me and the driver and I could not see who it was let alone that there was someone driving.

"uh-hum,Hello?" I say clearing my throat, still sore from all that smoke and screaming. Guess the window between us was sound proof cause I got no response.

I look out the window to see we're in a highly wooded area. I have no idea where we are.

We were probably driving for at least 2 hours after I came to, my minding wandering where we were going. All I kept seeing was forest upon forest. When we finally came to a stop we were a castle. Like a literally castle.

The engines stops and I hear the front door shut and passenger. Guessing it's the two buffoons who kidnapped me. Few seconds later the back door opens and Rylin is standing in the sunlight. His dark hair shining against the glisten of the sun.

"Glad you're awake. The pack doctor is going to look at you and see how you're doing. You took some hard hits to the head. Sorry about that Jordie isn't really that bright." He seem utterly concerned for me. I couldn't help but be drawn to this man. He just looked utterly tasty. Where these thoughts came from I have no idea.

I step out the SUV to see the gates of the castle behinds is and a beautiful mountain view when the sun was starting to set and just glisten over the peaks of the mountains with a beautiful orange and pink skyline. I was in awe, I've never seen such a beautiful sight. I've never left Danville, always wanted to explore but mom was always so protective and said it was to dangerous to go far from home. Starting to make more sense now.

I don't fully believe all of what's happening but I guess I have to go with the punches now.

Rylin and Jordie are a few feet ahead chatting amongst each other. Jordie continuously looking over his shoulder to make sure I'm still behind them no doubt. Like I cod make a run for it. I wouldnt make it far let alone have any clue where I'm at now.

We walk through the doors into this beautiful masterpiece of a corridor. Two pillers with stairs on each side like you'd see in the Hollywood mansions on T.V. A beautiful collection of art and statues lining the hallway with many doors. All looking ancient but we'll maintained. The walls looked to be built out of marble. This place was stunning. They take me to the end of the long hallway to the room on the left.

We walk through the door to what looked like a small Doctor's office. A receptionist at the far corner of the room.

"How can I help- oh, oh, Alpha Kalina!" Her face with utter shock she bows her head as if I was royalty. She knew my full name as well. What the hell did mom keep from me.

My eyes were burning no doubt my contacts needed changing. Mom got these special contacts that formed to my eyes and melted away after a month. No one at school could ever find them. Mom just had a good doctor I assumed. Now I'm not so sure. Getting a glimpse of my reflection in the glass, I looked rough as hell, blood still caked to my face and hair matted up, but my eyes. They were turning a deep purple. What In the world. I'd never seen anything like it. I brushed it off as it was an odd reflection due to the glass.

"Right this way Alpha. The Doctor is waiting for you." she say timidly.

We head down the hall to another room on the left. The room was literally a small hospital room. Had everything down to a emergency set up for surgery prep. I saw some needles and tubes for blood. Looks like I was about to get poked. Paper work ready to sign on the desks. She shut the door behind us and said "He'll be right in."
