“You haven't slept the whole night. What's troubling you?" Cal asked with concern. He has seen James awake the whole night.
"Something isn't right. I don't feel okay." James whispered.
"That's because you haven't slept. Take a nap, you'll feel good." Cal told him stroking his hairs softly.
"No, you don't understand. Ever since he told me that he wants to go, something felt wrong and now it's messing with me. I can't pinpoint what is it, but it's something big. I told you......I was never in favour of him leaving, it was y—-"
"Calm down, will you? You talked to him at night. He is at his friend's house, he is safe. And Miles isn't that young that he doesn’t know what is good for him and what not. He needs to grow, he needs to see understand on his own Jemmy, that's how he'll grow up. You can't put him under your wings for rest of his life. Let him fly." Cal said calmly still playing with the strands of James.
"I know that's important for him but you.....you also know why I'm worried. He is my only family that's left Cal. You and he are my only support, I can't lose both of you. If he would've been in-front of me, I would've been known about how he is and is he really taking his care or not. Medicine Cal, who will tell him there to have a good diet and take medicine on time. He isn't ready for the world yet, he is too innocent for the world.....he is not ready for this cruel world." James tried not to shed tears. But the pain is day by day increasing. And it's only been 1 day hardly.
"Jemmy, stay calm. I'll contact with him every time, I'll remind him daily to have a good meal and his medicine. Trust me, I care for him just like you do." Cal engulfed the slightly shaking body of his boyfriend.
In these 2 years he has seen many emotions, but one thing is above all those, the bond between these two brothers. He has never seen a soul like Miles, and he has never seen a brother like James.
They both are like one soul in two bodies. Last night when Miles called, Cal saw how hard was it for James to control his emotions, how hard was it for him to hide the pain and sound okay to Miles just because if he cried, Miles will get worried.
But after that call James didn't sleep, nor did he eat anything.
"Jemmy, you trust me, right?" Cal asked. He needs to let James decide, Miles is staying right at Christopher's and there is nothing to worry.
He saw James nodding.
"Then let him be, this age won't come back. He needs to break out of his shell. Everything will be alright. It's just 4 years then he'll come back to us." He holds his hand assuring and smile while nodding.
"I won't promise you, but I'll try not to worry much." James replied.
"We'll talk to him on call every day." Cal further added with a sweetest smile over his face.
"That we will." James also smiled but very little.
"Come on, breakfast is ready, have it and then take a nap. You also need to take care of you or else Miles will be seriously worried." Cal replied and James was quick to stand up.
"Thank you for coming in my life. I can never thank God enough for sending you in my life." James gave him a small kiss over his cheeks.
"And I can't get over your love. I'm always needy for it." Cal replied hugging his boyfriend.
He always had Cal by his side. Cal has always been a strong support in his hard times. He always stood by his side and always advised him sincerely when he needed it.
James hugged his boyfriend back and just like that they went for a breakfast.

A doorbell disturbed him sleeping peacefully. He groaned, rolled over and hid his head in the duvet to slip back into the dreamland.
The bell ringed again.
"Ahhh who the fuck is it dying over the bell." He groaned again standing up and walking up to the main door with one eye slightly open, second closed tightly and hairs sticking everywhere.
"Who is it?" He took the receiver and asked in his half sleepy voice. But the anger was still present in that.
"Open the door shit head." That was enough for a brunette to open the door.
"What the fuck are you doing here so early? It's still 7 in the morning." He asked but red head was not interested in answering him.
"Call him." Lucas asked instead.
"Call who?" Christopher was indeed asleep.
Lucas didn't wait and walk inside to bring a glass of cold water from the purifier and then dipped his two fingers in it and slightly shaking then in front of Christopher to get him open his eyes and wake up properly.
"What the....." Christopher yelled as soon as the cold-water droplets hit his skin.
"Calm your shit down it was hardly a drop." Lucas rolled his eyes. He actually used a very little amount of water.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Christopher asked.
"I'm here to baby sit your friend, call him. I'm already late, I have a practice at 7:30." Lucas sounded slightly annoyed. But Christopher just slides it off.
"But you said 8 yesterday. I don't know if he is even awake." Christopher asked worried.
"M-Morning. I'm a-awake and ready." The shuttering small voice made them both turn to the voice owner seeing Miles standing there in his oversized white shirt and denim jeans. Blond hairs perfectly made and glasses adorning his handsome face even more.
"Oh, here he is." Christopher smiled cheekily and turned to his friend. "You look beautiful."
Miles got shy on the comment, he has always been the one known about his beauty, and he never get confident when someone complement him. He finds it hard not to blush over it.
Lucas's hand turned into a fist. He was finding it hard to control watching the one who kicked him standing there smiling. It just infuriates him more. Other's smile triggers it more.
"Get your bag. I didn't get the whole day." Lucas tried not to sound annoyed, and it just came out a bit better than he expected.
"Sorry." Miles muttered and ran back to his room to get his bag. Christopher turned around to his friend and held his shoulder.
"Stay with him okay, be with him until he finds his class. Try to keep an eye on him that he doesn't get bullied, or someone troubles him. He isn't used to such situations Luke; he is very sensitive. I'm trusting you with this. Be with him okay." Christopher asked. Lucas can clearly tell how sincerely worried he is for his friend but that thought irritates Lucas more than it should.
"You do realize he is a teenager; he can take care of himself and beside I myself has classes to attend. I can't stay with him all the time. I'm not a free man. I've got other duties also." Lucas replied to hands still fisted.
"Well other than being a gym head, what other duties you have Luke. Fucking around with girls and falling in love everyday isn't that of important thing I suppose. Make yourself a bit useful. I want you to take care of him and that's final." Christopher had a finality in his voice.
"You do realize he isn't a kid——"
"Don't say a word." Christopher cut him off. "I'll be late, make sure he gets home safely and do his dinner properly."
"You have a phone?" Lucas asked making Christopher nod unconditionally.
"Use it and call him when you get the time." Lucas replied annoyed. This blond was getting on his nerves now, more than he should.
"I'm going to the headquarters today; I won't have my phone with me. That's why I'm asking you." Christopher gritted his teeth. His dearly brother aka friend is annoying him this early in the morning.
"For fuck's sake Crisp, I’ve got my own work to do. I can't......"
"Do it. I didn't ask for yes or no. You have to do it." Christopher said and stopped talking as soon as he heard Miles closing the door of his room. "He is coming, correct your mood and be nice to him."
"Fuck you." Lucas turned and left the apartment before Miles could see him.
"This fucker..." Christopher huffed and turned on the soft call of his name by Miles.
"W-where...."
"He went down to start the car." Christopher said and hugged his friend. "Have fun okay. Lucas will be with you. You don't need to worry."
"You don't have to worry, Chris. I don't want to be a bother to him. I can handle myself."
"Yeah, big guy I know. Do tell me how was your first day school when you get back. See you at night." Christopher said breaking the hug and assuring Miles that everything will be okay.
Miles also left the apartment, running to the elevator to get to the car. He was out of the building in no time. He was excited and scared.
Excited for a new life and scared of the new people.
He saw Lucas waiting for him in the car, the red head look different from earlier. He looks angry. Miles shudder at the view but didn't want to assume things so he ran to the car. He pulled the front door to sit but...
"Sit in the back." Lucas's booming voice made him look at him in confusion.
"Close the door and sit in the back seat." Lucas said glaring at him. Miles couldn't help but shudder in fear at the tone.
"S-sorry." He said closing the door and shifted at the back seat. He didn't dare to look up, it makes him scared.
"I'll drop you at the main gate and don't you fucking dare cling to me in the school. I don't want a weirdo at my tail. Stand at the gate when I tell you and I'll pick you from there. You don't know me in the school. Understood." Lucas said looking from the rare view at the boy who had his head low and saw him nodding.
"Are you mute?" He almost yelled. "You your fucking mouth."
"O-okay." Miles replied. Finding a bit hard to understand the sudden change in the red head's attitude. Christopher just told him that Lucas will stay with him but this.....
"Christopher asked me to stay by your side but I suppose you are grown enough to take care of you. You can find your class." Lucas repeated his thoughts.
"I-I can m-man-age." Miles replied and a dirty smirk played on Lucas's lips.
That was easy. He really is a scaredy cat.
"Good boy." The compliment sounded very inappropriate and dirty to Miles. "I'll be free by 6 and I'll take you back home then. Stay inside the school till then and come out on just one call."
Lucas was being too strict on him. Miles was finding it hard to remember all the rules. He just had one thought that what is he going to do till then. He only had an orientation today, and he probably be free by 11 after that what will he do.
"Am I clear?" Lucas looked back at him glaring.
"Y-yes." Miles replied hurriedly.
"Do you have my number?" Lucas asked.
"N-No." Miles replied.
"Do I have your number?" Lucas asked voice dangerously calm.
"N-No." Miles replied again. He can sense other will explode like a bomb now. He made him angry again.
"Then how am I going to call you?" Lucas asked making Miles look down again.
"S-sorry." Miles replied.
"Write your number on the paper and give it to me." Lucas ordered and Miles was quick to do what the other said. Too scared to even argue.
"H-here. That's my nu......"
"I know that's your number. Speak only when you are told." Lucas snapped at him snatching the paper from his hand.
"S-sorry."
"Fucking weakling. How can you be a 20 year old boy. You are fucking weak than a girl." Lucas threw a hateful comment and those words hit Miles's heart.
He knows he is weak and not as masculine as normal boys, but he doesn't need to be told by someone else and such rudely.
"Don't tell me you are crying now!" Lucas huffed making Miles wipe his tears quickly and adjust his glasses, looking back at him.
"W-Why will I cry?" Miles said with a small smile. It hurts to smile with a broken heart.
"Thank God." Lucas speeds up the car. Their school was not that far from their building. It took him next 15 minutes to get to the school gate. Lucas stopped the car little far from the gate and turned to Miles.
"Get out. Be here at 6" he said and then turned back to the front.
Miles just nodded not waiting for a second and took his bag and jumped out of the car.
"Goodbye." He said while walking away making Lucas smirk.
Lucas saw how slowly Miles walked up to the gate and how he was gripping the bag's strips. The scared condition of Miles gave nothing but a pure joy to Lucas's heart.
It'll be fun, just wait till 6 boy. You're gonna love it. I'm excited ohhhh yeahhh.
It's the first day of new school, first day of new life. Whatever it will be, Miles was determined to live it full. He will live through all of the moments that once he only saw in tv and newspapers. He is a high school student now. Miles made way to his department. He took arts. So, the classes schedule will be shared with them after today's orientation. A new beginning indeed. He was lost as it was first time and wanted somebody to guide him. He has walked past the reception and don't even know the way around to go back and look for the department map. He breathed in and out to calm himself. Stress isn't good for him, and he can't handle stress well anyway. He took a step forward hoping he will find some help. He read in the article published on school's website that students in this school are emphatic and kind. Helping others was in the goals of the school. This policy of the school was also one of the reasons why Miles chose this school. He was confident to find some help.
Lucas sat down, throwing the bag on the floor in the corner. He got comfortable at the square shaped heighten leather cushion. Something dropped out of Miles's bag making a small noise causing Lucas to lazily see. Lucas had and amusing chuckle escaping his mouth when his eyes landed on the object. "Well well isn't he a total loser. Needs an artificial air to breath." Lucas picked the inhaler and looked at it fully. Lucas threw the inhaler in the dustbin instead of putting it in the bag. He picked his bag making way to the same cushion. "Let's see what he got." Lucas whispered getting comfortable on the couch. He pushed his hand inside. The first thing that came out was the glasses case, he threw it on the ground. The second was poor boys’ wallet. He opened it. It was full of money, not very much but still much for a school student. Lucas raised an eyebrow getting amused on how much the boy had in his pocket. "He must be really billionaire". Little did he know. "But he is still s
Christopher just got free. It was currently 11:30. "Bye Christopher." One of the employees said as they both left the building together."Bye Alicia. Be careful while walking home." Christopher said out of curtsy. He is a gentle man. "You too." The girl replied when they both parted going opposite directions. Christopher took his phone out calling Miles. It just kept on ringing, but no one was picking up. He was worried, Miles never missed a call, but he was a bit relieved understanding it was so late. He is asleep by now. Christopher cut the call and called Lucas. He knew younger will be awake. He sleeps really late. And just as he thought the call was picked on the third bell. "Hello." Lucas said uninterestingly. "Lucci." Christopher said. "Ofcourse you called me so I'll speak dumbass." Lucas scoffed. "Where is Miles?" The name alone infuriated Lucas."He actually should be at museum for his weird personality but he is in your apartment." Lucas laughed. "Find a lock for you
"Everyone, eyes on the target and just keep passing the ball." Moura yelled. The while basketball court is filled with boys practicing."Luca, move fast." Moura yelled. Lucas was relatively slow as compared to other days. The truth is he couldn't sleep properly last night. "Why are we even practicing?" He groaned in annoyance. He looked around to everyone and saw all of them were genuinely practicing. "Because we fucking got a match with other schools. Now get your ass concentrate on the field." Moura yelled followed by the whistle making everyone alert. "Mr. Black." A young boy called as soon as he entered the basketball ground. The called male turned watching the very familiar boy standing at the entrance of the room. "Yes." "I apologize for disturbing you in between the practice but Mr. Lee is calling for Lucas." The boy said very politely. "Why do you have to apologize for that." Moura smiled at the boy turning back to the players playing. "Lucas." He yelled. The boys didn
The day went by well and it went rather quickly. After that gym registration, Miles had 3 classes whereas Lucas was free. He had to attend the sports head meeting. It was 5:30 right now and just like yesterday Miles was in the library, looking at his phone for a call or message from the red-head boy. This time was different because he actually has his number this time. Soon his screen lit up reaching a screaming ringtone that echoed in the library's "academic book" section. Miles was quick to take his phone out of his pocket. "Hel...." "Be at gate in 2 minutes. 1 second late and I'll leave you there." Before Miles could even reply Lucas cut the call. Miles didn't waste even a second and took his bag, left the book on the table, and ran downstairs. He was lucky that he was there on time and just when he reached there Lucas's car arrived. Miles was huffing as because he came running and the slightly sharp sparks of pain dancing out of his chest were getting bigger and bigger. "Ge
The next morning Miles woke up to the sweet smell of toast and egg being cooked. Small knock on his door made him open his eyes slightly. "Up up now baby bear." Christopher said hugging his friend. Miles couldn't help but smile at Christopher's warm gesture. "Why are you up so early? Didn't you have a holiday today?" Miles asked. "I did. I wanted to cook you a breakfast, so I woke up early. Hurry up. Come on." Christopher replied pulling Miles up from the bed. "But you didn't have to. You should've have slept for late...""Shhh. Go and brush. I'll set the table." Christopher cut his sentence. "Is L-Luc.....""Nope. Today's breakfast is for us only. He isn't invited. Go now." Christopher replied him making Miles breathe in relief. "Okay." Miles felt himself feeling happy. First, he didn't forget the last night's nightmare and second today is going to be a nightmare. Christopher was out in the living room setting the table. The truth is he couldn't sleep properly last night, thin
Miles made way to his room, changing into his sports uniform that was provided to them by the school and came out only to find Lucas sitting on the couch, glass of milk in his hand and Christopher lying down lazily on the other couch. "Thank God." Lucas huffed, standing up. "Let's go." Christopher opens his eyes, stood up as he bid them goodbye and hugged Miles. "Remember what I told you okay. Don't worry about anything." Miles nodded and hugged Christopher back before running toward the elevator where Lucas was waiting for him. Lucas saw how both best friends held each other in their arms. Not to get jealous, as he knew Christopher has always been there for him right after when he thought his life was finished and he was left all alone. But this relationship between both friends feels so precious. The way Christopher got so worried just by seeing Mile’s crying. Lucas always wanted this. He has an egoistic personality and rude behaviour, but he just can't help it. There had been
Miles was thankful that he didn't collapse or else he doesn’t know what Lucas would've done. Lucas was standing like a hawk on these 5 students who were doing their best to not mess up during exercise. "5 push ups" he announced. One of student made an annoyed huffing sound hearing the announcement."Atlas." Lucas called making the student stand straight in front of him. "Y-yes sir." "You got a problem?" "N-No sir." The boy shook his head. "I heard you complain about exercise!" "N-No sir. I'm perfectly fine with it." Atlas lied. "Alright then, 10 push ups for you and the rest of you will do 5. Hurry up." He announced marking each of students’ progress. Miles didn't say another word and positioned himself for the said exercise. Lucas did show him the demo, so they know how to do it, but it was hard. Everyone did 3 push-ups easily but then they were finding it hard to do it."That's good at least 3 is a good progress. I'm glad you guys know how to push your limits. Finish the r
