Chapter 9( Part 1)

"Hilary, manners." I heard Mrs. Brooklyn says. I slightly bow and apologize.

"HAHAHA! Your daughter is funny!" the old man says. I awkwardly laugh to ease the embarrassment I've faced.

"Let's go and eat?" the old man says with a big smile on his face.

We roamed the floor and entered a room. I was amazed by the interior design of the place. It is spacious and elegant. The walls were painted white while the light is cream-colored that making the ambiance fancier and sophisticated. In terms of designs and furniture, each wall has a big framed painting. Most of them are inspired by the medieval era, you can say that these paintings are not replicas and handwrought. Just look at it! The paint is not perfect and you can feel the texture just by staring at it. It also has a signature at the very bottom of the painting.
