Jenny tried to move past the lump in her throat as Adam lay bleeding on the gravel. Jax had her arm, dragging her away when Jenny's wolf muscled her way through, catching Jen completely off guard. "Leave me alone. I need to stay with my mate." Rosa's firm voice growled, and Jenny lost control of her body completely. In a flurry of tangled arms and legs, Rosa fought mindlessly against those seeking to restrain her. Brown eyes turned to charcoal, and the trembling began.
