Erin's POV

“I’m sorry,” I cleared my throat. My feet refused to move, rooted in place. Azure’s face twisted in concern as he glanced over his shoulder. “Did she say pup, as in, a puppy…. Dog?”

Azure stared at my face for a moment before his adams apple rolled with a thick swallow. He moved slowly, stepping in front of me, “Our baby will be an Alpha werewolf, like me.”

My heart felt fluttery as I stared into his concerned gray eyes. As the seconds ticked by, his face began to blur as my eyes went in and out of focus. I was not growing a human child…. Totally not panicking at all.

“Okay,” my voice cracked. “That’s okay.”

“Erin,” Azure’s voice dragged me back to the present, “Do you need to take a moment?”

Did I need to take a moment? Or a million between now and the next eight months? Probably.

“Could you give us a moment?” his voice sounded like background noise to my raging thoughts.

I think the doctor said something, but I couldn’t hear her. My heart was racing, and my breaths coming

  • His Baby, My Revenge   Chapter 102

Erin's POVI followed Finn inside, but he bypassed the couch for the kitchen.Hopping onto the counter, I watched as he rummaged through the cabinets, pulling out two mugs before spinning around, “Hot chocolate?”A deep moan vibrated through my body, “Yes, please.” He chuckled, pulling out all of the ingredients before popping the mugs into the microwave and leaning up against the counter opposite of me, “How are you really?” he probed.“Honestly, I feel lighter than I have in years,” I brought my knee up, resting my chin on it. “I thought I would be sad or feel the betrayal cut deeper once it was out in the open, but I’m ready to wash my hands clean of that life and move forward,” I tilted my head. “Thank you for everything, by the way. That little display was a ten out of ten.”Finn chuckled, stepping in front of me, “You’re very welcome,” he whispered as I dropped my leg, allowing him to slot himself between my thighs.“What shall I ever do to repay you?” I tapped my chin with a g

Erin's POV“You two,” Azure’s finger bounces between me and Finn. “Are going to be the death of me…”I giggled, shifting on Az’s lap, “It was funny to see your reaction.”“I wholeheartedly agree,” Finn grins in the rearview mirror. When Finn texted me that Azure was sitting across the street with binoculars, I thought it would be funny to play with him. My first thought was for Finn to tell him I was coming out, but in reality, when he’d turn around, I would be kissing Finn, but since I did just technically hand Rowan my divorce papers, it wasn’t a good look, so we settled on a goofy face.I couldn’t wait for the divorce to be finalized so I could do whatever the hell I wanted with my men.“I love seeing you happy,” Az buries his face in the crook of my neck.“You would have loved seeing Rowan’s face when he realized what happened more.”“Not a chance,” he murmured, “Maybe before, but this,” his thumb drags along my lower lip. “Will forever be better than any revenge.”My heart skips

  • His Baby, My Revenge   Chapter 100

Azure’s POV“Can you see anything?” Finn sighs behind me.How the fuck is he not panicking right now?Erin has been inside the Connolly Enterprises building for an hour. An entire hour I haven’t had eyes on her.‘I would know if she were in distress,’ Nero tries, but even he sounds unconvinced. ‘Our bond is getting stronger.’ Not fucking strong enough, apparently. “Whatever bird watching asshole lied about the distance these things can see should be sued,” I hiss, twisting the lens on the binoculars for the thousandth time in the last hour. “These were three thousand dollars.”Finn chuckles, unable to hide his amusement at my misery, “You should have informed me you were looking for such a device,” he tisks, “I would have told you to go with a telescope.”Of course he would have.“You were busy,” I muttered, readjusting again. The binoculars were ripped from my hands, and a snarl ripped tore from my throat, but when I glanced into Finn’s eyes… the tightness in my chest relaxed for a

Erin's POV“Mrs. Connolley,” the receptionist at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile. The woman has worked there since Rowan was a toddler, and I knew this was her final year. Rowan had approached her with a severance package, suggesting it was time to retire. She was thrilled because the money meant she could return to Canada and spend time with her children, but what she didn’t know was that Rowan was replacing her with a more “aesthetically pleasing” model for the face of Connolley Enterprises.“Sharon,” I returned her smile. “How are you?”“You know me,” her ruby lips pulled into a toothy smile. “Working and preparing. Did Rowan tell you that I’ll be retiring at the end of the year?” Tears brimmed her eyes. “I cannot tell you how lovely it will be to go home. It’s been too long.”I wanted to crush Rowan’s image, but in doing so, I’d be crushing this lovely woman, and that’s not worth it to me.“I’m happy for you. If there is anything more you need in your contract, don’t h

Erin's POV“Erin?” Ophelia’s high-pitched voice dragged my attention from a painting on the wall of Grinders, the high-end café Ophelia wanted to meet at.I spun around, locking eyes with Ophelia’s warm brown ones. I thought I would feel hurt or betrayal, but the only thing I can feel is relief.Just like with Rowan, time away from Ophelia has shown me how blind I’d been for so long. In high school, I ignored her shitty behavior and lackluster personality because she was the only person who reached out their hand when I was drowning. But sometimes kindness is just a smile with a hidden knife.“Long time no see,” I forced a smile.“Yeahhhh,” she looked me up and down with pinched brows, “What is this?” Ophelia’s finger moved up and down.“My outfit?”“Uhhh… duh,” she chirped. “It’s so… how do I put this,” her nose scrunched further, “Not you. And makes you look like you’ve gained ten pounds.”Ophelia of course was dressed in a leather, ivory wrap coat with thigh high boots looking like

  • His Baby, My Revenge   Chapter 97

Erin's POVI stood, staring at the calendar in my makeshift office at Finn’s, the big red circle on today’s date a glaring reminder that my plan was in motion.Finn gently knocks on the doorframe, “Everything is all set.”I took a deep breath, glancing at him over my shoulder. He smiled, showing off those dimples I wished were always on display, and waved a manilla envelope towards me, “You look like a woman scorned by the way,” he stepped into my office. “Very sexy look.”I chose a skintight red body suit, but paired it with a high waisted, flowy black skirt to hide the ever-changing baby bump.“You like it?” I smirked, grabbing his outstretched hand. Finn twirled me around in a circle, a squeal leaving my lips as he dipped me backwards, pressing his lips against mine with a grin.“You’d make a paper bag look good, love,” he winked, pulling me upright, but not letting go. “But this,” he stepped away just enough to give me a once over, “This is the kind of outfit you drag your ex-husb
