"I will go pack some sort of bag for Mae." I bowed my head to show respect. And walked up to Mae's room. I threw some clothes in a bag and packed a couple of her favorite books and movies. I went into her bathroom and grabbed some tolietires. By the time I was done doing a light pack, I had two suitcases and a couple of bags of random necessities I thought she might have needed. I walked over to her bed and laid down on her pillow. I smelled her scent for a final time before I started to cry all over again. I must have fallen asleep because Cheryl was tapping my leg softly. "Sweetpea?" I groaned and rolled over to face her. I was startled and abruptly sat up. "Is the conversation done?" I asked her polietly. She nodded her head and started stroking my hair. "Now Aplha Logan is just speaking to you're dad and Ellen privately." I rolled my eyes and got up. I sighed and threw and crossed my arms over my chest. "Probably to negotiate the terms of me visiting." I said with air quotes. "And as much as I would love to have the freedom to see Mae whenever I please, he rubs me the wrong way." Cheryl chuckled and shook her head. "You know what the best part about being mated to Damien and the best part of the pack was?" She looked at me curiously. "I have a feeling you're gonna tell me anyways." I sat back down next to her and crossed my legs. "It was win your mom finally found her mate in you're dad. We were best friends, and the thought of leaving her broke me. The way it's breaking you." I looked down at my character socks. "But when I finally found my mate in Damien, well I was reuntied with your mom. And come to find out, even though she was truly happy with your dad. She was sad to lose me, and the idea of not being able to see me agian. We hugged for hours. She said it was like a weight being lifted off of her." "Why are you telling me this?" I asked her. "I just want to make sure you're looking at all angles here. Alpha Logan seems kind. Give him a chance it wouldn't hurt to have another friend." "In a different pack?" I ask her. She nodded her head and kissed my forehead. "Yes, even in a different pack. Come, I'll help you bring these downstairs." We gathered the suitcases and small bags and brought them to the front door. As we were setting the stuff down, my dad, Ellen, and Alpha Logan were coming out of the office. We said our goodbyes, and I went back upstairs while he made arrangements for the bags. It had been a couple of days since I talked to Mae, and it's Thursday. I was curled up on my couch in my bedroom's living room, reading one of the many books in my personal library. I was contemplating on getting up and putting on my workout clothes when I heard on knock on my door. I got up and walked over to open the door. It was one of many employees helping run the pack house. "Hi," I said. "Aplha David requests your presence in his office, miss." He said formerly. I nodded my head. "I'll be right down." I turned to the table by the door and traded my book for my phone. I followed after the gentleman who was sent for me. He stopped outside of the office door as I knocked on it. "Come in." He called I walked into his office. He immediately put down his paperwork and looked at me. "You need to pack a bag. You will be a guest at the Moonlight pack." I gasped.Isabelle "I will go pack some sort of bag for Mae." I bowed my head to show respect. And walked up to Mae's room. Logan I let out a long whistle. I haven't had a chance to meet the surrounding packs or their Aplhas since becoming Alpha myself. This is where Isabelle and Mae is from. It was tall and constructed to look like a giant wooden cabin. Made completly from the Red Pine, which you could smell from the forest only a couple of feet away. I looked at Isbelle, who was just staring at me. When she caught me looking, she quickly looked at the ground. And I could smell the hint of arousel from her. She tucked a pieace of hair behind her ear the best she could as the wind had made her curls borderline untameable. "You tried to get rid of me a little while back there?" Finally adressing the fact that she was dangerously speeding. She nodded her head as I stepped closer to her. "You should'nt speed like that it's very dangerous, and you could get hurt." I lifted her chin up, so her she was looking in my eyes. I could hear her breathing speeding up, and her heart accelerating. Just by my touch.
Isabelle Alpha Logan payed for all of our pizza, as we started walking outside. Max was gesturing for Mae to put her a helmet on when I got a glance at her. She handed Max the helmet back before clashing into me for another hug. This time, I could feel Willow mourning the loss of her friend. I gripped her tightly, not wanting to let her go. "You have to go," I whispered. I pulled back to look her in the eyes, I grabbed the side of her face. "Go, have fun. You can always call me or text me. And my dad's the best, I'm sure he'll negotiate visting rights." She gripped me back into a giant hug. "You'll always be my sister." she whispered. "You will always be mine." I held her tighter. She let go of me and walked back to Max, who gave her sad smile. She hopped on the back of his bike and put her helmet on. "Don't get into too much trouble." I called after. "Try to get into some." She called back out before Max and her sped off. I watched them drive off, as a tear fell down my ch
Logan Max and I walked out the pizza restaurant and towards our bike. Max leaned himself against his bike and looked at me. "So, did you find your mate?" He chuckled. "You tell me." I sneered "I did, and she's gorgeous." I felt some jealousy rise in my chest as he continued talking. "Her deep ocean blue eyes and it looks like her hair captured sun rays in every single strand." I let out a deep laugh, I couldn't contain it. As a felt the jealousy subside. I could see Max straightening up getting ready to defend Isbelle's friend. I decided to have a little fun with this. "Oh yeah she's beautiful," I shook my head and look at Max. "With her forest green eyes, and beautiful curls. I wouldn't mind getting lost in." Max looked confused. Than we both burst out laughing. "Their friends." We said in unison. Bursting out laughing, till our stomachs hurt. "So what's the plan Alpha?" Max asked, lightly shoulder punching me. "Well she's you mate right? We need to discuss
Isbelle I was still looking down but I could feel his eyes on me. I was still holding Mae's arm. She patted my hand to calm me, I didn't like social situations most of the time. I especially ackward ones. I felt my cheeks getting hot. Logan stepped around Mae and grabbed my free hand. I quickly looked up at him, his eyes were filled with exciment and curiosity. I looked back down at my pink converse sneakers. "How old are you?" He asked softly. I leaned into Mae more, feeling more uncomfortable. She was looking at Max though oddly, so I didnt really have a buffer. I thought it heard her mumble something but I couldn't exactly make it out. I was to busy being all to aware of how close Logan was getting to me. "I'm seventeen." I whispered softly. Tugging on Mae, to try and get her attention again. "When is you're birthday?" Logan asked me another question. Mae let's out a sigh, with relief laced all in it. With out taking her eyes of Max, she answered for me. "She turns e
Logan Max was waiting on the bench when I returned from my run. Aspen grabbed my clothes and we head to the tree line to change. I came back out and sat with him on the bench. "How's was it?" Max asked. "Good, though outer buildings need to be maintained. Can you contact the home owners and get the maintenance crew on it?" I asked. He nodded. Talking out his little notebook and added it in. "Its almost one, wanna go get pizza while we talk about the rest of your run and I give you reports?" Max suggested, as my stomach growled. "Yeah. Pizza sounds good." We headed to the pack house garage to grab our motorcycles. Threw our helmets on and raced each other to town. I was the first to reach to Little Italy, our regular pizza place. It was already a little crowded due to the lunch rush. Max ordered the pizza while I went to the bathroom. I had just washed my hands when I stepped back out, hoping Max found a table, when something caught my attention. What was that? I fel
