I hear the blue birds outside of my window, as I grasp at the last couple minutes of sleep. Seven days. Wishing the moon goddess to be kind to me, and grant me another hour. I was not ready to face the day. I slowly open my eyes and turn to face my window, as I can see the sun poking through my light blue curtains. I glance at my phone on the nightstand, two unread text messages. Mae: I'll be there in 20 to help. You better be up! Shit, she sent that five minutes ago. Mae has been my bestfriend since grade school. She was the daughter of my father's, Alpha David of the Moon Waterfall pack, best gamma. I love Mae like a sister. She had already turned 18 and was looking for her mate while at the same time training to take over for her dad if need be. I'm not surprised though she manage to get the week off to help with the planning. I was shy and hated parties, if I had it my way I'd stay in the library for my birthday this Sunday. I rolled out of bed to open the curtains to let the morning sun officially in. Then I hopped to the shower, past my small living room. By the time I was done, Mae was sitting on the couch thumbing through one of the seven big white binders she brought. "Ummm.... good morning." I said to her causally with a hint of sarcasm. "Hey, I let myself. I left coffee and chocolate crossiants by the clothes you laid out. When you're done I'd thought we start with the binders? Two are mine, and five are from Luna Ellen." "Sounds good." I nodded. Ellen was my step mom, she married my dad when I was 10. My dad lost my mom when I was five. And Ellen was rejected by her mate because he had family with another women in a different pack. When dad meet Ellen, he just felt like he need to take her away, and eventually they grew to love each other. "Is she meeting us?" I called out to Mae, checking my outfit in the mirror. Jeans and a comfy comic tee my favorite. "No, she said she wanted to give a day. Two max! To pick out what you want and like, before she starts helping and acting out you're vision." I walked back out to the living room to take a seat next to her, and grabbed one of the binders. Ellen was kind, she didn't try to replace my mom. She just tried to pick up were she left off. And she didn't make me call her mom or nothing. But eventually I started to call her Ellie. Because I equally grew to love her. The binder I picked up, had color pallets, floral arrangements, and food menus. "What binder do you have?" I asked Mae. "Music, table and dance floor patterns, and favors." "I think we should start with color pallets first, and go from there. Do we have a binder of theme ideas?" Mae nodded, as she flipped the cover of three other binders to find it. And than scooted close. "What kind of theme were you thinking Izzy?" I rested my head on her shoulder. She only used my nickname when she sensed I was gonna get stressed. Her wolf, Jade, was good at sensing me. Its like the moon goddess knew we needed each other. She flipped through the pages, passing theme after theme. Finally I saw one that caught my eye. "This one!" I said with excitement. Mae laughed and nodded in agreement.Isabelle The run through the forest was exlerating, but I was ready to come home. I was at the edge of my new home, MoonLight pack house. I snuck back into the house before anyone could tell that it was me or that I was naked. I walked into my apartment and noticed it being too perfect, I wanted to destroy it all. But instead, call for Anna. "Luna, I will go get the Alpha." She turns once she has realized it was me that called for her. "No!" I called, which made her freeze in her tracks. "Can you set up a cot in my office, please? Don't tell anyone what you are doing." She nods her head and quickly rush off. I grab some clothes and follow them after her. I walk into my office and see her finishing up the cot, I quickly rush to the bathroom and place my clothing in the empty drawers. "Can I ask why I am not telling the Alpha?" Anna said calmly as she set in a chair by the desk. "I hurt him on accident. Among other things that I have done. I'm just not ready to deal with s
Logan I watched as she took off out of the infirmary in wolf form. I knew I had to go after her, but I looked down at my arm, and I looked around the room. Max and Everett were uncoscious, my uncle was bleeding profusely from his face. Lauren and Mum are in histarics, as Mae was still looking at me. Cheryl ushered quickly to Max, and Ellen started walking over to me. River sat me in a bay, and quickly satarted to stich me up. "What the hell was that?" Ellen asked me as River finished and quickly went to aid the others. "Tristian is down the hall, and he has agreed to help us." I told her, Ellen looked at me shocked. She put her hand over her mouth. "She knows." She told me, I nodded my head. "And I think she figured out her mom, too." I told her, as Ellen shook her head and sat down next to me. I got up and rushed over to Everett and Max while River rushed to my uncle. Lauren was still hovering over Everett, bawling. "I need to look at him." She leaned back so I could look him
Isabelle Tristian visibly looked uncomfortable at Logan's question. He adjusted himself several times in his chair before he looked around. He looked over at me, and I could feel the stinging behind my eyes. But I still continued to look at him. "What do you want to know?" Tristain asked him. "Well, Alpha David stole your mate from you, I was just wondering if he may have stolen another mates from anyone else?" Logan shrugged as if it was a simple question. Tristian was getting all sweaty, however, still looking as uncomfortable as before. "It may have been possible," Tristian answered vaugley. "I don't think I understand what you are implying." He was looking at Logan trying to figure out what Logan knew, if in fact Logan knew anything at all. I slammed my hand on the table, making everyone around me jump except for Logan. "Who was she stolen from?!" I demanded from Tristian, his eyes looking down at his plate. Picking at his lasagna by the layers. I continued to look at m
Logan Tristian walked back to his seat and picked up his fork, and began to start eating again. He looked around the room and I joined him. We could see everyone around him, including myself, had numerous questions. He continued to chew but smiled, quickly finishing his plate so he could engage with all of us. He placed his fork down and looked up at us all, "Who would like to go first?" "I will." Max volinteered. "Why hasn't he reached out to us yet? You know to discuss details of the upcoming fight." Tristian chuckled as he looked at Isabelle. "Honestly, because he doesn't think it's a fair fight." He laughed as he said this. "And he's right, because with my help it deffinetly won't be. He thinks you're still weak. But my darling girl, you never were weak, that's why he had to ensure that you felt that way. It looks like Logan here is good about bringing out the best in his mate." He gave me a nod, and before I could respond, Everett chimed in. "Will he cheat?" He asked,
