Se connecterIsabelle "He doesn't deserve that title." He told me through gritted teeth, his tone disapporving. "And you do?" I asked me, very asertively. Trying to remain calm as the argument started to upset me. "What is that supposed to mean?" He asked me in a smaller quiter tone. "It means the title doesn't make you an Alpha, and the sooner you realize that the sooner you can open your mind to the possiblity of other options. Besides isolating your uncle and your poor mother." I gesture to the door, but Logan is standing there with his eyebrows raise. "I do exactly that! But you're in a fragile state, and what you did was competely irresponsible." He also gestures to the door, still yelling at me. "The only thing fragile about me is the fact that you treat me like I am fragile!" I shouted at him. "Because I can't lose you!" He shouted back at me. There was a long pause as what he said sunk in for the both of us. I turned to the side of the bed and let my feet dangle above t
Logan Max and I were walking to the center of the square to address the questions of our pack members. "I don't understand why you couldn't handle this without me?" I ask him, very rudely, because I was not impressed that I left Isabelle's bedside. "What do you mean? Mae insited you wanted to come." He stated back. "No, Mae insitied that you and the pack wanted me there." I retorted, but Max just shook his head no and went silent. "Mae's blocking me out." He told me, his face white. I tried to reach out to Isabelle via our mindlink as well. Realizing that's what Max was trying to do with Mae. "Iz is blocking me as well." I told him, sighing at the fact that the girls were probably pulling something, agian. I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration. She hasn't even been fully awake for a day, and she already is pulling fast ones and tricking me.. "Should we head back?" Max asked. "Let's handle the pack first. They are already expecting us." Max nodded his head in agree
Isabelle "Damn it! Lindsey, I have been waiting for three hours! I'm going in!" I could hear Mae yelling from out the door before it slammed open. It didn't even jump me because I knew that's what she was going to do, and Logan was still curled up by my side. It was not even phased by Mae's abruptness. A very exhausted Lindsey came in chasing after her. "I am so sorry, Luna." She pleaded, looking competely exasperated. I held my hand up. "It's okay, Lindsey. When was the last time you took care of you?" I asked her politely. "It has been slacking, miss." She answered, honestly. "Go find a guest room, take a shower and a nap. Recharge, grab food. You deserve it, girl." I told her. She bowed her head. "Thank you." And quickly darted out of the infrimary. Mae found a chair on my right hand side and took a seat, quickly grasping my hand. She was examining my face, checking me over, making sure that I was still me. She finally let out an exsaperated breath before crying uncont
Logan "Please, baby girl, please come back to me." I leaned down into Isabelle's ear. I whispered my plea into her ear, praying she would hear me. "Please don't go. I still need you." I begged, "please, I love you." Isabelle has been in a coma for at least two days, and I haven't left her side. Anna comes and go's through out the day, bringing me food and brushing her hair. She even helped me get her into a more comfortable night gown instead of the scratchy hosptial gown. Mae would come and try to convince me to go upstairs to get some sleep, but we'd eventually compromise, and I would sleep on the couch in the room while Mae would sit next to her bedside. Max and Everett would come in every morning and every evening to tell me what was happening in the pack. Ellen periodically looked in on us a few times a day, dividing her time with Isabelle and Tristan. I guess me pleading with her to stay with me must have worked because I was holding her hand when she squeezed it back. "Li
Isabelle "Now you think it's time we talk?" I question her and roll my eyes. I loved and missed my mum crazily, but this was getting ridiculous. "I understand you're frustrated," she began, but I cut her off. "Frustrated? No, I was frustrated last week when this shit show started. I am beyond pissed now." I tell her. "I'm getting ready to fight Dad for the title of Alpha, and now you think we should talk." I raise my voice slightly, very clearly getting frustrated. "You challenged your father?" She asked me. "Well, I didn't really have any other choice." I huffed. I finally took a bite of the pastries and finger sandwhichs that were laid out. It was single handling the best thing that I have ever tasted. I sighed at the taste, hitting my tonuge. Meanwhile, my mother burst into laughter. "What's funny?" I asked her, raising my eyebrows. "I prayed to the Moon Gooddess for revenge." She sighed, still chuckling. "I just didn't think it would be from my own daughter." "
Logan I sat there in the waiting room for what felt like an enternity. Anna came in with some snacks and looked around the room. She very sheepishly walked up to me. Knealing down in front of me, her voice barely above a whisper. "Sir?" Anna spoke. "Has Luna come and found you yet?" She was very polite, and it had occured to me that she had no idea what was going on around her. A small sob escaped my throat as I put my face in my palms, digging my elbows into my theighs. I hear Max's voice in the background. "Why do you ask Anna?" He questions her polietly. "She had me set up a cot in her office last night. I was wondering if she liked it repeated?" Anna replied nonchalantly. "Why did she do that?" Mae asked her, reaching for my hand to provide moral support. "She didn't think Alpha would want her around after how she acted, and she wasn't ready to face him." Anna answered Mae, no becoming hestiant and noticing her surroundings. "What's going on?" She asked me, finally
