Couple hours later, we had finally finished with all the binders. I decided to empty one of them, to load what I liked and what I'd be comfortable with for a back up. I'm not really into parties, but this was was gonna be exciting. Mae broke me from my train of thought when she slapped her thighs. "I'm officially starved. Wanna go to Little Italy and get a pizza?" She cocked her head to the side. "Yes, sounds amazing. But first let's stop by Ellie's office to drop off the binder and dad's office to make sure we are good to go?" It shouldn't have been a problem, the pizza place is in town. A mutual territory among the 4 packs in 100 mile radius. Plus it was completely inhabited by humans. Walking down the Aplha family floor, to where the offices and common rooms are. Such a pain, but it is what it is. Three flights of stairs and Mae stopping off on the first floor, to snag something out of her room. We stopped outside of Ellen's office door. I knocked and waited for anwser. "Maybe she's with Alpha David?" Mae prompted. I shrugged and walked over to to the other side of the hallway to his door. I knocked. "Come in." We heard him say. I pushed open the door and walked in. He looked up from his desk and smiled, Ellie over his shoulder also looked up in smile. "Is that binder for me?" She exclaimed. I nodded and handed her the binder. She immediately placed it on whatever they were looking at and started thumbing through it. "The back is back up options." I said quietly. "Not that we'll need them, but thank you for planing ahead." She smiled. Dad looked at the binder with Ellie and furrowed his brows. "Iz are you sure this is gir.... OW!" He snarled. Ellie had elbowed him in the side hard. "This is exactly perfect for oue Isabelle. You like it right hun?" She looked at me. "Yes she spent at least four hours on this." Mae added, but I started to look down at my feet. Hoping dad approved. "Oh yes, I see. I was just looking at it wrong." He perked up. Taking second look at the binder. "Do mind if I kidnap Izzy and go to little Italy, sir?" Mae asked my dad. "No of course not. Go have fun! Bring us back a pie." He waved us off. Not even before we got to the front door. We heard Ellen call. "Extra pepperoni and cheese please!" "You got it!" I replied. We hoped in Mae's black hybrid and left. We listened to cheesy boy bands. See Mae loved to be all dark and edgy, but on the inside she we had more in common than what she let on. We pulled into Little Italy, placed our order and grabbed a table in the back. The pizza finally arrived when I got the scent. It wasn't the pepperoni or the cheese. At first I thought it was the italian spices. But it smelled like a pine needles and autumn leaves with morning rain. Willow, my wolf, peeked up our senses more. Suddenly I was looking all over the restaurant from our seats to find the source. "You okay?" Mae asked. Seeing my strange behavior. I nodded my head, trying to ignore the urge to get up and walk around. My eyes still searching. "How's Jade doing?" I asked her abruptly. "She's fine. Why? Are you sensing Willow?" She asked hesitantly, with concerned laced in her voice. I nodded. "Well?" She asked, her concern growing. "We are smelling something heavenly. And I can't find. I fighting the urge to stand and walk around." I tell her, my curiosity growing. "Don't make it obvious." She warns, as she practically pushes me out of the booth. Sighing with relief. She must have thought I sensed danger. I started walking around, trying to follow the scent. I had circled the restaurant at least twice, pretending to get napkins and forgetting straws. I decided to head back to the table, when some kid accidentally pushed me. I closed my eye waiting to hit the ground but instead I felt some ones arms around me. And the scent, I could feel Willow's excitement as we were right on top of the scent. I opened my eyes. What caught me was a gentleman. He was 6ft and by what I felt in his arms. He lifts. His eyes were a snow blue, like freshen fallen snow after a storm. His hair barley combed, was the color of pine tree bark. His lips, perfect. They called to me, as if they need mine to be complete. "Are you okay, miss?"Isabelle The run through the forest was exlerating, but I was ready to come home. I was at the edge of my new home, MoonLight pack house. I snuck back into the house before anyone could tell that it was me or that I was naked. I walked into my apartment and noticed it being too perfect, I wanted to destroy it all. But instead, call for Anna. "Luna, I will go get the Alpha." She turns once she has realized it was me that called for her. "No!" I called, which made her freeze in her tracks. "Can you set up a cot in my office, please? Don't tell anyone what you are doing." She nods her head and quickly rush off. I grab some clothes and follow them after her. I walk into my office and see her finishing up the cot, I quickly rush to the bathroom and place my clothing in the empty drawers. "Can I ask why I am not telling the Alpha?" Anna said calmly as she set in a chair by the desk. "I hurt him on accident. Among other things that I have done. I'm just not ready to deal with s
Logan I watched as she took off out of the infirmary in wolf form. I knew I had to go after her, but I looked down at my arm, and I looked around the room. Max and Everett were uncoscious, my uncle was bleeding profusely from his face. Lauren and Mum are in histarics, as Mae was still looking at me. Cheryl ushered quickly to Max, and Ellen started walking over to me. River sat me in a bay, and quickly satarted to stich me up. "What the hell was that?" Ellen asked me as River finished and quickly went to aid the others. "Tristian is down the hall, and he has agreed to help us." I told her, Ellen looked at me shocked. She put her hand over her mouth. "She knows." She told me, I nodded my head. "And I think she figured out her mom, too." I told her, as Ellen shook her head and sat down next to me. I got up and rushed over to Everett and Max while River rushed to my uncle. Lauren was still hovering over Everett, bawling. "I need to look at him." She leaned back so I could look him
Isabelle Tristian visibly looked uncomfortable at Logan's question. He adjusted himself several times in his chair before he looked around. He looked over at me, and I could feel the stinging behind my eyes. But I still continued to look at him. "What do you want to know?" Tristain asked him. "Well, Alpha David stole your mate from you, I was just wondering if he may have stolen another mates from anyone else?" Logan shrugged as if it was a simple question. Tristian was getting all sweaty, however, still looking as uncomfortable as before. "It may have been possible," Tristian answered vaugley. "I don't think I understand what you are implying." He was looking at Logan trying to figure out what Logan knew, if in fact Logan knew anything at all. I slammed my hand on the table, making everyone around me jump except for Logan. "Who was she stolen from?!" I demanded from Tristian, his eyes looking down at his plate. Picking at his lasagna by the layers. I continued to look at m
Logan Tristian walked back to his seat and picked up his fork, and began to start eating again. He looked around the room and I joined him. We could see everyone around him, including myself, had numerous questions. He continued to chew but smiled, quickly finishing his plate so he could engage with all of us. He placed his fork down and looked up at us all, "Who would like to go first?" "I will." Max volinteered. "Why hasn't he reached out to us yet? You know to discuss details of the upcoming fight." Tristian chuckled as he looked at Isabelle. "Honestly, because he doesn't think it's a fair fight." He laughed as he said this. "And he's right, because with my help it deffinetly won't be. He thinks you're still weak. But my darling girl, you never were weak, that's why he had to ensure that you felt that way. It looks like Logan here is good about bringing out the best in his mate." He gave me a nod, and before I could respond, Everett chimed in. "Will he cheat?" He asked,
Isabelle I started to choke on my drink, well, everyone gasped, everyone except Logan. He looked over at me quickly to make sure I was okay, I waived him off while Anna quickly rushed over with a napkin to help me with the mess I had just made. "You are the only one who doesn't seem surprised?" Tristian questioned Logan. Logan simply shrugged. "To be honest with you, I kind of had my suspicions it was something. Especially after overhearing what David said to Isabelle in her office yesterday." Immediately, Tristian looked scared. "Don't worry, he had no idea you are here. Isabelle made sure of that." He gestured to me, I nodded my head when he looked over to assure him that it was true. When I finally regained my composure, I felt brave enough to speak. "Does she know?" I asked Tristian. "Yes, but she is sworn by the mark he forced upon her. There's nothing we can do without it killing her. Not until he dies." He whispered the last part of the sentence, as if it was still
Logan I held the doors open for her so we could leave the apartment for dinner. We walked down the stairs hand in hand, Anna met with us at the bottom of the stairs. "Luna, Alpha." She greeted us. "Just making sure you don't need me to reschedule." She smiled. "No, thank you for all your hard work." I smiled at her. Isabelle gave her a quick hug. "As requested, all female staff. Chef was a little upset he couldn't cook, but he understood." She led us to the dinging room and opened the door for us. Everyone stood, inculding Tristian, and bowed their heads. I stopped by Mae's seat and whispered to her. "If at any point you need to leave, or you're not feeling well. Please just stand and go, we understand." I instructed her. "Yes, Alpha." She whispered coarsly but blushed because she was being singled out. I looked over to Max, and he nodded, also understanding her intructions. "Everett can take lead if needed." I held my hand out for him to shake, which he did happily. As
