Chapter 25
My arms ache as I carry the countless bags. Liana seems to enjoy shopping. She brought Pan and I along with her but instead of being a bodyguard, I am being used as a human bag carrier.
"Liana, are you sure you still need to go to another shop?" Pan asks wearily, glancing behind at me.
"Yes. I promise it's the last one." Liana turns her head to look at me, "Sorry Tin."
I smile tiredly, "It's fine. I'll manage."
She tucks her blonde hair behind her ears as she walks in front of me with her brother. What is so enjoyable about shopping? I usually just get the cheapest top I find. Rich people sure are different.
As we enter the last shop, my eyes glance around. There are actually decent clothes here. Liana excitedly heads to the dress section and calls me over.
"Tin, leave the bags with Pan and help me check which dress looks good on me."&

Sure enough, Wade Rider is already outside when we arrive. Liana hurriedly gestures for me to enter through the back and I nod and head around the other side of the mansion. I manage to climb up to my bedroom balcony. Fortunately, the door isn't locked and I can easily slide myself inside. Liana should be making an excuse for me right now. "Fine. But you can't sleep on the bed." Is what I said but why the hell is he lying next to me?! I forgot about his sleep-walking habits. He somehow moved from the floor to the bed whilst I was asleep. As his arms hug me tighter against him, I try not to slap his hands off me. Why do I always end up in weird situations with this guy? "Tina, are you free this weekend?" My mother asks from the other side of the phone call. "I'll check. Why Mum?" I ask curiously. It's strange for her to call me and ask if I'm free. Is she planning something? "It's nothing. Just a friend of mine is holding a small party and wants me to bring you along." Mum explains vaguely. I frown. Why does she want me to go? "You can take Mint instead." I say. Knowing Panda, I doubt he will let me leave my duties. "My friend last saw you when you were a baby and she's excited to see how you've grown up. Please Tina. Do it for me darling?" Mum pleads. She's using that desperate voice which she knows I can never refuse. "Fine Mum." I sigh in defeat. "I'll come home on Saturday." "That's all. Thank you darling." She sounds cheerful and a little too excited. What is she planning now?

"Pretty Lady, would you mind if I join you?" Reflexively glancing at the voice, my eyes widen in shock and panic. "W-what at are you doing here?!" I gasp. It's too late for me to escape. I end up leaving the party early and Mum isn't pleased at all when I head out without her. Did I overthink? Maybe she didn't plan anything. Even if she did, meeting both Wade Rider and Panda King when I am dressed like this is the worst thing that could happen. My head is slightly hurting after being exposed to the loud music, dancing and drinks. We came in a taxi so I'll have to call another one to get home. It's still early and Mum will probably take longer so I can walk around for a while and clear my head. I'm still hungry after eating a lot of the snacks. Maybe the dancing made me burn it off. Walking out of the gates and onto the street, I check on my phone for the nearest shop. It's fifteen minutes away. Following the map on my phone, I walk down. The street lamps are on already, illuminating the dark streets. As I continue on my way, loud voices distract me. Listening carefully,

"Tina, come out and talk to me." I groan and stand up. "Why Mum? There's nothing to tell you." "You didn't even wait to meet Bryan." She says through the door. Bryan? "Who?" I ask in confusion and open the door. She walks inside my room and sits down on the bed. "Aunt Camellia's son. He was looking forward to meeting you." I roll my eyes, "So that was your plan. You wanted me to meet him." "I know my daughter is clever." She smiles happily. "Well, I had other things on so I had to leave. Anyway, I'll be going back tomorrow morning Mum." I say. "You and Liana must be close." She smiles. "Huh?" "Does she have a brother? Maybe I should try to set you up with–" She drifts off into her dream world.

As I get ready to go to the beach, I grin. Shall I ask Ciarra to come along? She mentioned that she has recently moved here so she doesn't know many people. And this will help Panda to get used to women so he can overcome his phobia.It's only been a day since we met but Ciarra doesn't seem like someone who would lie. She wants to be friends doesn't she? This is a great opportunity for me to get myself another friend.I frown.
