"How is she?" she enquired, still reeling from the shock.

"The doctor has tended to her injury but she is still unconscious," Martha fretted.

"I'll be there," saying that, Angela disconnected the call and made her way outside. She told Theo everything and he took her back to the house.

The house was eerily silent. Ignoring the oppressive aura, she made her way towards Nichelle's room along with Theo. Her heart was thumping rapidly. Guilt squirming at the back of her head. She had promised Nikaulas that she will look after Nichelle. He must be very upset.

As Martha had stated, Nichelle was still unconscious. Gauze was folded around her forehead, her arms also had survived some injuries. She was covered with a duvet from waist down so she couldn't figure if her legs were wounded too. Guilt washed over Angela.
