I knocked on Jordan’s door for the fifth time, yet no response. His car was parked outside, and the light from his bedroom was visible through the window. That was a sign that my boyfriend was home but he just wasn’t hearing the knock. What was I even doing? I should have informed him I was coming. Just then, I remembered Jordan always kept a spare key under the doormat. I searched for it and found it. Yeah, no regrets after all. I unlocked the door and stepped into Jordan’s apartment. The familiar chocolate musk cologne of my boyfriend greeted me. We had been apart for months but it felt like forever. Walking up the stairs, my hand tightened around the wine bottle I had bought for Jordan. It was on the stairs I saw it, a shirt or so I thought. I smiled, he must have been too tired to pick it up. I crouched low to pick it up so I could take it with me upstairs but Jordan didn’t wear gowns? My brows knitted in confusion as my eyes caught more clothes littered across the stairs, not like a laundry pile, goddamn it, like two lovers who couldn’t wait to get to the bedroom so they just stripped off their dresses impatiently. This was Jordan’s apartment, yes. “Maybe his cousin came over,” I shook the thought away. As if my mind was playing tricks on me I heard a loud shriek of ecstasy “Yes, yes. Jordan….don’t stop.” My legs moved before my brain could even stop to think. I didn’t know if it would be better that my boyfriend was dead, thus the AI pictures, than if he was cheating on me. As I pushed open the bedroom door, I stood there dumbfounded, Jordan was flat on the bed with a blonde girl riding him. The wine bottle slipped from my hand dragging their attention to me. “Shit, Kiki,” Jordan jolted up quickly, pushing the blonde girl aside. He hurriedly picked his shorts and jumped into it, his eyes not leaving me, “You…you didn’t tell me you travelled back,” “Don’t touch me,” I snapped with gritted teeth “How long?” “Are you seriously angry?” Jordan scoffed without remorse “It’s your fault I cheated” “My fault?” My voice came out strained. “Look, I lied. I was not fine with no sex,” Jordan raked his hand through his hair “But this relationship can still work, I will just have sex outside,” This relationship? Like it was nothing? Like we shared nothing at all. “You should have noticed, the texts messages, they were routine AI chatbot messages and—” “The pictures,” I interrupted as tears rolled down my eyes. It only made sense now, for months Jordan had grown detached, we barely talked on phone. Little wonder all his messages sounded the same. “Oh, you noticed. So are you here to break up with me?” Jordan asked, chuckling. How did he even find any of this funny? The blonde girl was propped up on the bed, angry that I had to end their fun. “You are fat, always wearing baggy dresses that make you look unattractive—notice why I didn’t even give a damn since you didn’t want sex?” For some weird reason, since high school, whenever I got insulted I just zone out with audible ringing in my ears. I turned around to walk away, my vision blurry and my chest tightened but I held on to the wall to support my weight so I wouldn't fall. Jordan didn’t chase after me but his voice did “Go to the gym, Kiki no man wants their girl with belly fat,” As I slammed the front door, the cold night breeze tingled on my skin because of the dress I had worn to impress Jordan. I wished it was a bad dream that I could wake up from but he was real. My heart ached, the memory of another girl riding my man—sorry my ex boyfriend. I cursed the day I met Jordan. Was I really just a fat joke to him? He hadn’t even noticed the green gown, my makeup, none of it. He didn’t even get to see my sexy lingerie underneath. Just then Taylor crossed my mind, the party. That was definitely going to keep me sane for the night. *** “That bastard,” Taylor exclaimed, pained as if we had been friends forever. “I never should have surprised him, I feel so stupid right now,” “Come on, you are not,” Taylor tried to cheer me up. We had stepped away from the loud party music, “At least now you know he is an asshole. You just need to dance and have a few drinks," I laughed just a little, that wouldn't make me forget what happened. Minutes later I was drunk and Taylor was on the dance floor, after her many failed attempts to make me join her. Sitting at the bar was much better than crying myself to sleep. I took another shot and requested my empty glass be refilled “Uhm ma’am, are you alone? I don’t think it's a good idea to drink any further,” the bartender said with a concerned look on his face. He was right, my vision was beginning to double, but I could still remember the smirk on Jordan's face when he spoke about my belly and our relationship like it was nothing. “Do your damn job and fill my cup!” I hit my fist on the table. “He’s right, miss,” I turned around to see a guy seating beside me “You shouldn't be drinking that much” I could only see the side of his face, “What is your deal? Do I look underage to you?” my brows furrowed “Sweetie, you look pissed about something and drinking wouldn’t solve it” he took a sip from his glass before turning to face me. I almost dropped my jaw, even if my vision was blurry I could still see his features. Who was this hot Adonis sitting beside me? He looked like a model, nothing compared to that shit head Jordan. His sleek black hair, and his lips… God, his lips were calling me. His chest… He cleared his throat taking my eyes from his chest to his eyes, “Why are you pissed?” He asked. To put the cherry on top, he had a deep and sexy voice. “I just want a drink with my money, is that illegal now?” He sipped from his glass again, his eyes on me like he was checking me out, “There is a policy at this bar, sweetie,” Sweetie? Hmm. I swallowed a lump down my throat, scanning the dance floor for Taylor. To hell with the bar policy, I want to leave. “Do you want to dance?” His voice interrupted my search for Taylor, “It will be a good relief,” he had a little grin that turned me on. “With…with you?” I asked but he didn't answer, rather he shot to his feet, and offered me his hand. I hesitated but I accepted and he led me to the dance floor. The music was loud and everyone was dancing, I caught Taylor’s eyes, she nodded at me with a smile. The man slid his hands to my waist gently pulling me closer, I shuddered. Clueless if I should wrap my hand around his neck, Wouldn't it make me look too eager? As if he could read my mind, he took my hands, placing them behind his neck “I’m Terry, and you are?” he asked, swaying my waist to the music “Kiki,” I responded forcing my voice to stay steady while I pretended like his touch was not doing anything to me. “So you look pissed, dancing would make you feel better,” I chuckled “Tequila could have done it,” I moved myself closer so much so I could feel his body pressed against mine. His small smile told me he liked it, I lifted my chin just to be caught off guard when his lips crashed on mine, I realized I wanted more. He bit my bottom lip and I let out a soft moan We pulled away, staring at each other His eyes were fixed on me, dark with yearning, like I was the only woman in the room, he wanted more, and so did I. “Do you want to go somewhere else,” his sexy voice laced with desire. “I thought you would not ask.”KIKI POVI was having my first meal for the day. The new phone vibrated on the counter. At first I thought it was not an important notification since I had set up my iCloud.Jordan thought he was smart, demanding money back? Humor me please.I was in a relationship, not a marriage. I wasn’t even a gold digger who was only there for his money, he wasn’t even rich to say the least. To hell with him, I just had to figure out my life, settle into the city and start my intern role. The phone vibrated again for the seventh time, I smacked my lips and checked who was blowing up my phone. : Legal Notice: Miss Oliver sued for $30,000 damages by Mr Jordan Yomi“What?” I exclaimed “This better not be a real court order but one of Jordan’s AI pictures trick,” I wasn’t done reading the document when my phone began to ring. “You got the email didn’t you?” Jordan chuckled at the other end of the phone “You think this is in any way funny?” “Yes, you are a fat joke who owes me a lot of money,”
KIKI POV “Do you want to go somewhere else,” Do I feel comfortable hearing the sound of a stranger asking if we go somewhere else? Totally no but to hell with being insecure. I have always played it safe, been the good college girl, not any more “Yes,” He could sense my hesitation, “It’s alright if you don’t want—” I didn’t let him finish, I leaned into him, holding his chin and locking my lips on his. When I pulled away, I could feel he was already getting harder, that was my cue alone, this man wanted me as much as I wanted him. He leaned in on me kissing my neck, and boy, that felt good. We were in the public and what we were doing could make someone shout “Get a room,” Oddly, Terry was taking things slowly, “Do you feel better?” He swayed my waist, running his hands on my hip. The same one I was always on a weight loss routine for because Jordan hated it. I would be lying if I replied yes to Terry. I didn’t feel better, I could still remember Jordan so much so I c

KIKI POV Excitement was not the word to describe how I felt. “Ma’am, we have beautiful dresses that fit your size,” the sales rep's friendly voice tore through my thoughts. “Oh, please, let me see them,” I responded, my smile spreading on my face as I followed behind her to the female wear section Not just any section, but the plus-size section. I was excited to be back in the city I grew up in but that wasn’t the main reason I was excited. After two years of dating Jordan and eight months of a long-distance relationship we were finally going to have sex tonight. “What’s the occasion?” the sales rep asked, stopping in front of an array of gowns. I almost blurted out that I was going to have sex with my boyfriend for the first time. “Nothing too corporate—a sexy gown and lingerie,” I replied instead “Ohhh, someone is going to have a fun night,” she smirked and it only made me blush. Well, for a sales rep I am sure she knows that she is supposed to have her bounda
