To Jade Country

"Sister, you have hurt me and instead of apologizing, you are disrespecting Daddy. Stop this, your dead mother will be angry." Susan said in a sad voice, her eyes having a sparkle of satisfaction and gloat.

"Susan, if you ever bring my mom into this, I will rip your tongue out of your mouth," Alexa said coldly, as the temperature dropped in degrees.

"Who are you threatening with such a voice? You little bitch, she is my wife, the heiress of the Fox company, you better know that!" Jack came in front of Susan to block her from Alexa's glare.

"That's none of my business, if she likes she can be the heiress of the Cow company, I just know, I will tell the truth," Alexa didn't back down either.

"Well, that depends on whether you will be here to do it, I have booked a flight for you, you will pack your stuff and scram out of this country," Hank said coldly from the side, ordering the maids to get Alexa's luggage.

"What are you saying? If I leave the country, I will never clear my name, you are killing my name and career by doing that," Alexa's voice had a trace of panic as blood drained from her face.

"Clear your name, you say? You were never innocent, you just disgraced our family's name." Susan declared.

“If you love us, you will leave this place this instant," Vera interjected from the side.

"Love you, are you kidding me now?" Alexa felt as if she was going crazy.

Just as she still wanted to argue, her email notification popped up and she saw the news of her agency firing her and even issuing an apology to Mr Smith and Susan. One by one, the companies she was affiliated with began to distance themselves from her and withdraw cooperation.

“Take her out of here," Hank gave the stern order to the guards without remorse, as he saw the lifeless look on Alexa's face.

(In a Swiss hotel)

The man who was tangled in the sheets had woken up and dressed himself neatly. His face was a work of art, God's marvellous work.

Every detail in his body screamed perfection in the eyes of humans. His long legs, chiselled face, deep green eyes and high nose bridge did nothing to cover his thin seductive lips which were stained red like that of a vampire.

His healthy wheat skin that glistened like his entire being was immersed in golden hue, he just looked like the Greek gods in ancient mythology.

He breathed out a cold and rapid breath as he looked at the old lady on his phone screen.

"Grandmother, I warned you to stay out of my business but you didn't and instead you went as far as getting a woman for me. Do you really think I don't dare to act on my word?"

"Darwin, I am doing this for your own good, it has been years already, eighteen years to be precise, you need to move on, you can't keep yourself tied to the past."

“Not your business, grandmother!” He yelled, his Adam's apple vibrated in his throat.

"If you do that, it means that crazy woman won in the end, Darwin I will never give up on you even if you give up on yourself, you will overcome……”

“So this is your idea of helping me, drugging me and getting a woman for me," Darwin interrupted his grandmother's hearty speech.

"Oh I wish it worked, but due to that heavy downpour, the girl I arranged for you, Cara, my distant friend's daughter. She can be regarded as your distant cousin. She couldn't make it, I am so pissed off but don't worry…”

“Wait, the girl I met wasn't your idea?" Darwin cut off the rambling old woman.

"Ehm, you met a girl?" A shocked expression appeared on the grandmother's face as her old eyes glistened with tears.

"How was it? Was it successful? Were you able to…”

“Ping,” Darwin hung up the call amidst the old lady's rambling.

"Luka, investigate the young woman I was with, I need everything about her instantly," Darwin gave orders to the stone-faced assistant who stood some meters away from him.

"Yes Boss.” Luka replied coldly but the surprise in his eyes was hard to conceal.

His boss, who had a severe aversion towards people, especially women, actually inquired of a woman.

"Who is this interesting woman? I would love to know, too." Luka thought, surrendering his respect for Alexa.

Meanwhile, Alexa who unknowingly caught the eye of the most powerful man in the city was forced and shipped illegally to Jade country. Jade country was a country that was seen as the land of death by most people, as it was the centre of war for most Nations.

Hank's ruthlessness and desire to abandon Alexa could be seen by the move he took and it brought a smile to Vera and Susan's face.

"Mom, finally this big house belongs to us mother and daughter, just us," Susan's eyes glowed with happiness as she walked around the house.

"Exactly Susan, now that wench and her daughter are no more, we will no longer have to resort to petty tricks to obtain what we want, the world is ours," Vera smiled with greed.

“I agree, mom.”

"Susan, how about it? What do we do with that maid, Olly? She could be a nuisance to us in the future." Vera's smile disappeared as she remembered Olly.

"Oh Olly, I promised her that after all this is done, she will be part of our family by marrying my cousin." Susan took a sip of her expensive wine.

"Miss Susan is really the best miss ever!" Olly who just came in from the back door of the mansion sprang up as she overheard the conversation.

Olly was filled with joy and just as she was about to come out and thank Susan properly, the next words rooted her to the floor.

"What a fool, she believed me, Mom, she actually believed that I would let a lowborn animal like her have a relationship with me, she sure thinks beautifully," Susan sneered.

"What? What? What is this?" Olly's face paled as she looked in shock at the gentle-looking Miss Susan.

Never did she expect such a gentle character to have such a disgusting face underneath her mask of gentleness.

"So what do you suggest we do? I know she won't take the lie and we can't give her so much money to keep her shut, she isn't worth it so how should we curb her?" Vera asked

Susan thought for a while as she stood up and walked to the edge of the room.

"She has no family so we can't persuade her based on family, she has no gambling debts we can make use of, she's also clean so we really can't do anything except for one thing," Susan smiled.

"What's that?" Vera asked eagerly.

"Death."
