Fourteen | Saving Her

I ran out hastily, my heart thumping loudly in my chest. By the Grace of God, there was a yellow taxi waiting. The Goenka Industries was not at much of a distance from the airport. I was there soon to find a huge crowd in front of the smoky building.

I ran.. The Fire brigade had just come but they hadn't gone in, still trying to extinguish the fire from outside.

I pushed through the sea of people and moved to the front. I met a familiar face, Akansha's assistant. I asked her if Akansha had come out,

" No Sir, not yet.. ", she continued with something more but well, I being a superhero as I considered myself, wasn't going to listen to anything extra so I decided to take matters in my own hands. There were fire brigade people guarding and not letting anyone go in. There was a "do not enter" tape placed like a boundary. I crawled in from below it. And without turning back, I ran into the building.. The fire was huge and the whole building seemed to be affected by it.
