I'm sitting in the living room, bored out of my damn mind because Enzo left me alone all day. I understand he has work to do but leaving me alone after we've spent such a beautiful week together makes me sort of miss him.

When my phone rings, I practically leap to the table to grab it but my excitement dies down the moment I see the caller ID, 'Don Romano.' yes, I can't bother to input him as a father his title is more than enough, because to me he hasn't been a father for over ten years, but somehow he was more of a parent than mother ever was.

I hesitate before I answer, trying to avert camera angles that could catch my lips moving. “Hello,” I nearly sigh.

“Sasha my dear,” Father says, sounding rather excited. “How are you?”

“I'm fine thanks.” I blankly retort. I'd avoided his calls for a while but now I'm inclined to answer, my honeymoon is over and he probably wants more info out of me.
