Lance's POV

"We can't accept her!"

I stared at each of every one of their faces as I possessed a cold demeanor. I sat amongst the elders in the pack again to listen to their rubbish.

Alpha duties do come with responsibilities including listening to trash.

Every one of them kept on throwing shades as J. I felt a bit hurt but they all failed to notice it.

"We seriously can't accept that human girl as your Luna"

"Yes, we can't..."

"Why?" I found myself asking cause I couldn't get what their problems were.

Are they the ones to dictate who should be my Luna and who shouldn't be my Luna? And weren't they the same people complaining to me to get a Luna for them already?

"Because she's a human and we can't accept humans"

"How can you ask us why we can't accept her? Can't you see that she's human? In our entire history, no Alpha's Luna has ever been someone from the human world"

"Why don't you go tell this to the moon goddess instead of ranting about it?" I asked them and they all kept quiet
