Lance’s POV

I really cannot tell why my heart is palpitating so fast as I searched for J. The thought of J hearing those words said by the elders remains stuck in my head. What if… I swear I’ll kill those Elders and I would do so in a way that no one would suspect that I was the one who killed them.

“J!” I knocked on the door to her room before pushing it open but she wasn’t there. Where had she gone? I thought she would be here. Taking my jacket off in frustration, I asked the guard standing close by,

“Where is J?”

“Sir?” he asked confused and I yelled,

“Where is your Luna?”

“Sir, she went to your room,” the man answered trembling. I walked past him and made my way to J’s room. I stood outside the door nervous, I wasn’t ready to deal with a crying J, I wasn’t at all.
