Surprised to see me

Alpha King

Choosing to arrive two days before the intended date was not what i had discussed with the old man but was what i decided on. I wanted the old man to see that i was well and healthy and that the little stunt he thougth he pulled was not enough to bring me down.

Arriving at the pack, i took in the ambience of place and felt my wolf stir and purr in satisfaction. A place filled nature should not be destroyed that easily i mind linked him and he agreed.

“The place has quite the view.” my brother gave his approval as he killed the ignition of the suv.

We both stepped out and watched as my warriors did same in the other suv following us at a safe distance. I really didn’t feel the need to have them follow me into the building, so i instructed the head of warriors “there is no need to have you all inside, my brother is enough. But if things go south, do not hesitate to kill anyone that seems threatening.”

“Yes sir.” they echoed.

We got to the entrance of their house and noticed how scanty the security was. One could easily annihilate all of them due to that but i guess they weren’t expecting any threat visits. I pushed the door open and was met with alpha Lyon himself. Seeing his reaction made me come to the conclusion that i made the right decision. My unannounced arrival stunned the old fool, rendering him speechless.

His petrified look gave me joy the most. Man looks like he was about to piss himself, i thought he was a fearless alpha. What a shame and i could help but chuckle. I sensed someone coming to down from the stairs and noticed it was his mate.

“Are you that suprised to see me?, because your reaction is saying otherwise.”

His wife look at both of us in a confused manner “my love, who is this?” she questioned but alpha Lyon seems to be too shock to have heard her.

That’s when i decided to look around the house. They have every family potrait hanged in the living, and separate pictures of there children. The picture of her made me realize that my sole purpose of coming here was not among this gathering. Infact the family looked quite incomplete and it seems that Storm also noticed, he nudges me and leans closer, “The twins aren’t here, if that isn’t suspicious then i don’t know what else is. Are you sure they are not trying to back of this deal, i mean you are the alpha king; they have to be prepared of the consequences of their actions.”

Taking in his words, i scanned the room again to actually make sure they were really not in the room with us, then i squinted my eyes at the old fool, raising an eyebrow. “Are you trying to play me, and before you answer me think twice as i am not really in the mood of spilling blood today but your response could result to that.”

Alpha Lyon look confused as he responded in a shaky voice “i really have no idea what you are talking about and i am also quite confused. This was not the agreed date for your arrival.”

I scoffed at his response, “i am quite sure you understand what i am talking about Alpha Lyon, you…” my brother nudges me again and i hissed in pain. Has he forgotten the predicament i am in at the moment. One more nudge and everyone will notice that i am in pains. “What the hell Storm?”

“Sorry.”

I noticed he was hinting at something towards the entrance, that’s when i percieved it before i heard the footsteps. The mixture of honeysuckle and rainy forest tickled my nose and i could tell that she was at my back. My wolf could not contain himsef being so close to his mate. I had to resit the urge to mark her there and then. I straigtened my posture, calming my wolf letting him know that now is not the right time.

Turning to greet her, i noticed she was not alone. She and the guy with her shared some resemblance. “Hello there, you must be Hela.”

She observed the room first, noticing the tension in it before replying, “yes and who might you be?”

Smart and sassy, what a combination. I could already tell that my wife was going to be more of a spitfire. “I am quite heartbroken that you do not know who i am, i thought i was really famous.” i looked at my brother and he shrugs.

“I thought so too Rain.” he laughs and i lightly followed suit.

“I am glad you found that to be entertaing and a source of amusement for you and your buddy there. Again who are you and what business do you have in our pack?”

This time i could not suppress the loud laugh that escaped my mouth. Seems like the old man didn’t show her a picture of the man she was jumping into marriage with. Taking a step closer to her, i crouched down to her eye level, looking straight in her green and flash her a smile. “My name is Eros Rain Vasilios and you are mine.”
