Alpha Keanu’s POV

Noir sat sprawled out in my office. More letters seem to have occupied my desk since the last time I was here. We were out all night and the day before looking for more hideouts of the rogues. We traced some of their scent to Ezra’s village which was still not attacked. Villages farther from the woods are being attacked but his was still bustling. It’s clear as day that Ezra has a hand in this but I can’t do anything without evidence. And if the human king was involved then there must be another high-ranked wolf, there was no way rogues would take orders from a human.

I looked at Noir who was about to doze off on the couch. “You should get some rest before the celebration”

“Don’t you think it’s time yet?” He yawned, stretching his body. I cocked my brow at him in question.

“Time to visit the witch. You’re not scared of her are you?”

“Don’t be ridiculous” I snarled at him.

“I only want to be sure of what we are up against before going to meet her”

He yawned again.
