Ivan

I grunted, holding my head banging from the hangover. “How the fuck did I even get home?” I muttered to myself, throwing the sheets off my body. I staggered out of bed, making my way to the bathroom with sleepy eyes until my head came in contact with a wall. I yelped, stumbling back and losing my balance.

“That fucking hurts!” I groaned, rubbing my forehead and parting my eyes slowly. My heart drummed against my chest upon seeing Cristiano standing in front of me with a towel draped over his lower body.

“How did you get into my room?” I demanded, my mouth watering as I gawked at his half-naked frame. It should be a sin to be born this hot and a crime to undress a person with your eyes.

“Your room?” He asked back, his lips twitching up. I blinked, looking away from him for a moment. My brows knitted together in confusion as I scanned the room. It was his room. No wonder the supposed ‘bathroom door’ happened to be a fucking wall. Our rooms were built differently.

CarlosI huffed in annoyance, watching Mia fake a few drops of tears as the doctor informed us about my uncle’s condition. She was a good actress. She didn’t give two cents about her father. In the past; maybe, but now, it was merely a competition for the Hernandez wealth. I exhaled, lowering my head to the floor. “Don’t worry, Carlos. He’ll be fine.” Marco reassured, patting my back. I laughed sarcastically, raising my head.“Do I look worried?” I asked sarcastically, glancing at my uncle lying unconsciously on the bed, “He got what he deserved.” I muttered in despair, clenching my fist on the side. “And what’s that supposed to mean?” Mia’s mother snapped, interjecting into the conversation. The doctor excused himself from the room, sensing the tension building up. “You know what I mean, Margaret,” I responded with a forced smile. “Must be karma, huh?” I shrugged and she lunged forward for an attack as though she could hurt me with that fragile body. Mia pulled her back, shaking h

Ivan I let out a deep breath as the door creaked open. Even with my back turned towards the entrance, I could tell who was standing on the doorframe. I didn’t know how long I’ve been lying on the bed, wetting the sheets with my tears and starving myself. Thankfully, Cristiano didn’t show his fucking face to me during that period. Only god knows what the fuck I might have done to him if he did. I only needed a sharp blade to plunge it into his flesh. “You can’t keep starving yourself like this, Tesoro.” He commented with a sigh. I scoffed, glancing at the dishes left on my table hours back. That was the fourth meal they’d brought into this room, and like the others, this was going to the trashcan. The aroma was enticing, but it wasn’t enough to make me hungry for food. “Ivan, look at me.” He commanded in a stern voice. I rolled my eyes, shutting my eyes as I heard his footsteps nearing. I felt the bed sink low from his weight, and his warmth rubbed on my body. I held my breath, ball

Cristiano I hated nagging, especially when Ivan wasn’t the one doing it. I rolled my eyes, my legs crossed as my father lectured me on the hundreds of wrongs I had done. I was more amused by how fast he got the news about Ivan’s father. It had barely been an hour and he showed up at my house with his damn wife and that fucking traitor. “Are you even listening to me?” He screamed in frustration and I hummed in response, meeting his eyes. He shook his head in disappointment, swinging his fist forward to hit me but his wife held him back. “Calm down, honey,” Matilda muttered, rubbing his back soothingly as she glanced at me. “I’m sure he regrets his decisions.” “No, I don’t.” I countered with a shrewd smile, “He burnt the casino and only got what he deserved.” I defended with a shrug. Luca scoffed, gritting his teeth as he stared into my soul. “How would you feel if I forced you to shoot father?” He asked with an arched brow. I didn’t know where he stood sometimes. One minute he wa

Ivan A lone tear rolled down my cheeks as I watched blood seeping out of his stomach. I couldn’t move, my body tensed from the judgmental stares on my face, especially from Marco. He wore a look of disappointment, but didn’t voice a word. He didn’t have the right to. They all stood and watched me pull the trigger without trying to stop me. Their duty was to protect the family yet they let me to hurt their leader because he didn’t order them to attack. He wouldn’t have asked them to kill me which only made me feel worse about what I’ve done. If I didn’t hate Cristiano then, I do now. I despised him.My stepmother held him in her arms, screaming at them to prepare the car. Carlos hurriedly carried him out of the house with Mia and others trailing behind him. I choked back a sob, lowering my gaze to my trembling hand. My eyes blazed in rage as I felt the bastard’s hand move inside my shirt. I chewed on my inside cheek, clutching the gun in my hand. “Let’s go home, Tesoro.” He muttered

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 57

Ivan He was fucking controlling and I was easily swayed to do whatever he wanted. I hate him so fucking much. But I didn’t hate him that much. I have always heard of people who are stupid in love, but never for once had I imagined myself to be part of those people who are crazy in love. Could this even be called love? “I can hear your inner thoughts, Ivan.” He broke the silence, arching his neck to the side. I rolled my eyes, scoffing in disbelief. He couldn’t hear my thoughts. He owned my thoughts if that even makes sense. “Stop scowling, Tesoro.” He scolded playfully, reaching to hold my hand, but I pulled back in disdain. After asking me to do something heartless, he dared to act neutral? He sure has a way of making the most insane act appear sane. But I had to let him know I hated this side of him. And if I can’t do that verbally, then I could show him how despicable he was right now. His jaw clenched, but he didn’t say a word. He turned his attention to the road, gripping t

  • His Little Obsession   Chapter 56

Cristiano There are two types of people in the world: The manipulative ones like Luca, who played their games perfectly well and made it almost difficult to find a pothole in their attitude. And we have those getting manipulated without their knowledge like Ivan who was about to do something he wouldn’t want to. “You want me to get back at my dad for you?” He repeated with disdain in his eyes. I nodded with a sly smile. He scoffed, shaking his head in response. “You started this.” He pointed out, getting up from my legs. “Don’t tell me you didn’t have a plan before you started this madness?” “I didn’t think your father would go to such great lengths to save someone who doesn’t need it,” I admitted with a hint of sarcasm. I must have underestimated his old man, but he was going to pay soon. “Well I’m not doing your dirty work for you,” he protested with a shrug, “Don’t get me involved in your mess with my dad.” He sat on the edge of the bed.I chuckled cruelly, crossing my legs. “
