"Let me go, Rico, what do you think you are doing?" she screams but I ignore her cries locking the door behind me.

Mia is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I'm so dumb for not treating her right. I saw it in her eyes.

She was giving up and I couldn't let her walk out of that door. Mum and Carl saw it too. If I let her walk out, I know the chances of her coming back are minimal.

I was supposed to be there for her but all I do is push her away when we get close. Not anymore.

Carl talked sense into me and I think he was right.

"You wanted me gone right? Then why are you stopping me?" She breathes hard as I gently place her in my bed.

Mia immediately sits up with the intention to leave but I quickly push her back down and carefully lay on top of her.

"Rico.." her words are swallowed when I gently press my lips on hers, surprising all of us.

I was not going to, I just don't know how to calm her down and it worked. I wouldn't have a conversation with an angry Mia.
