“Alpha!” Then someone yells from behind me. We have been looking everywhere and in all directions going from Red River and to Blackmoon pack, but we have not been able to find Maddie and Azlela. I fear the news the voice is going to bring me, but I also need to be sure. It’s been days now, and the possibility of her reaching that stupid mate of hers is overwhelming.

“Yes?!” I ask without turning around to face the one bearing the news. Jessica scowls at me, furious so much of my time lately has revolved around Maddie and not her. She’s also still very salty about the fact that the stealing spell didn’t work either.

“Luna Maddison is back with her pack, and she has Azlela with her.” He says, his voice shaking. He is probably afraid of my wrath. I take a deep breath, containing my anger before turning around, facing the messenger.
