Ending to a Perfect Day
Lucas helped me clean the kitchen in a rush to hurry and get upstairs but ended up being called out on business. I hadn’t been happy but I didn’t argue about it either. It wasn’t worth it. Besides I got to go take a bath in peace, put on a cute nightgown despite being pregnant, and now I was sitting up in the bed admiring my ring. Lucas had done a fantastic job of picking it out.
