Lucas POV
As the door opened I looked up at the two men who entered. I don’t know how long they had held me in the investigation room alone but I was over it and ready to go. I needed a report from David and most of all I was ready to get home to Taylor and see how she was doing. I had just gotten her back and I'd be pissed if this ran her back off. The younger man, one I hadn’t seen before sat down pushing a pack of cigarettes toward me, “you want some coffee?” he asked.
Turning my attention to O’Grady I shook my head no. “You already know I’m not speaking without Latham so why are you here annoying me?”
O’Grady looked at me unfazed, “Oh come on Lucas, what’s a little chat among friends. Your little girlfriend Taylor had lots to tell me. I have to say she doesn't seem your type. ”
I arched my brow up at him, “oh really, like what? How she can’t stay off my dick.”

I had bacon and sausage on the skillet and was buttering a ban for biscuits when Lucas walked in flanked by police. I knew from the moment that Lucas pulled up to the front of the hotel he had booked us that it was lavish. He had booked us a suite and I couldn’t wait to see what it looked like. The next morning I awoke to an empty bed. I hated it when he got up before me. Unfortunately, that was more days than I’d care to admit. As I walked through the garage door at Lucas’s house I was amazed at how well the cleaners did while we were gone. Walking in I turned around, it was like nothing had ever happend. I had remained downstairs far longer than I had wanted to. Even still it was barely 45 minutes before I ended up walking to his office. I had hoped Tre would come for me sooner rather than later but that didn’t appear to be the case.
