Chapter 6: Click!

(Henry's POV)

Thankfully, Kara and the others showed up on time, and a lot of things happened after.

They introduced themselves to my brother, and to my surprise. Alex was Kara's older cousin, and with that information it's easy to connect the dots altogether.

Drake, Casper and Sandra were already acquainted with Grey's friends. So it was really only me who still needs to be introduced

In the midst of all the ruckus, I could still feel him staring at me. He was just sitting there, completely still like a statue. I was super anxious right now and I kept on tapping my shoes on the floor.

"I am serious Alex, just keep your whore away from Henry, and I could have literally kicked that slut if I wanted to, might you know." Kara was talking about the woman in the hall, apparently she was like one of Alex's harem? 

Kara was ranting her contempt over her to him, but it wasn't going well since Alex was just ignoring her.

"I heard you took care of the situation." Alex suddenly spoke, finally responding to her.

Hearing his voice, a weird feeling crept up in my chest.

He has this deep yet solemn voice. The kind that captivates you and will make you do every command. It's kind of… how do I put this… sexy?

Or maybe it was just me? Oh my gosh am I being weird?!

I really have to get out of here, my mind is wandering in all sorts of places.

"Yeah, she was pretty scared. Tsk!" 

"Then what do you need me for?" 

"I need you to cut her horns. Do you think she would dare act high and mighty here without your support?"

"What do you want me to do, keep her in a cage?" he asked, his tone serious.

"Yeah, do everything to tame that lame bitch, let's go Henry." Kara said, grabbing my hand. 

Grey tried to talk to me, wanting to ask about what it was they were talking about, but I said that I'll just explain it later at home before I was finally dragged away by my friends.

Before we were out of sight, I mistakenly looked at Alex's direction and as expected, his eyes were still locked on me.

Then I saw the corner of his lips lift up, turning into a grin sending endless shivers down my spine.

He is so scary!

After finishing our last subject for the day, we all decided to head straight at home, totally drained.

Grey was still talking to his coach to fill him in on his role on the team, and he said it will take a while, so I got in the car first and listened to some instrumental music from my phone and opened the windows to get some fresh air. 

Unknowingly, I fell asleep.

[Click!]

Moments later I stirred awake when I heard a clicking sound, I groggily straightened up my body and wiped my glasses because it was fogged.

I looked at the time on my phone and realized that I had slept for almost two hours.

The sun was already gone but there was still no sight of Grey.

The parking lot was basically empty now. There were only two cars here, ours and a black Bugatti parked a few meters away.

I decided to go to the field and see if Grey was there.

As I was walking, the black car suddenly roared to life which startled me. I waited for it to leave but it didn't do anything aside from blaring its light.

I shrugged my shoulders, not minding it and continued sauntering my way to the field. I really just wanted to go home and rest.

After thirty minutes I was finally able to bring Grey back with me.

"Sorry it took me so long, Bud,." My brother said as he buckled himself and I leaned my head to the window with my hands, fully drowsy. 

"Hey, you still have to tell me what happened with you and that woman in the hall."

"Yeah-yeah~" I groaned at my brother and closed my eyes, not really processing what he said.

This day had been both too eventful and tiring. I really want to sleep in my bed… ohhh… how I miss my bed.

(Unknown POV)

I looked at my phone while driving as I appreciated the beauty of the person who was sleeping soundly in the picture. He was too careless to sleep in the car with the window open.

Next time I see him do it, I'll surely do more than just taking a picture.

"I bet his lips taste sweet don't you think so, Alex?"
