It was the second day after my arranged marriage to Evan. Like I felt yesterday, the feeling was even more today maybe because I was liking it.

Apparently I had succeeded in chasing Evan out of the masters chamber and since it all belong to me now, I decided to enjoy every bit of it.

It was time to begin my day according to the daily routine I had made yesterday. But first, I wanted to feel and enjoy myself before I did start. I ignored how slippery the marble tiles were, walking around the room like I was born for this. Leo was still sleeping peacefully.

Today, I was going to start my daily routine properly.

Quickly I found a light blue dress and changed into it, packedy hair in a high and low ponytail.

Oh... breakfast. I would have that when I got back, probably with Leo when he was awake.

Everywhere was still quiet. Only the guards were up and standing at their duty post. They bowed as I passed. Their eyes followed me, but with a lot of respect and curiosity—I liked it.

"Alright I think that should be all for today." I clapped twice so the trainer could stop."Are you okay, Leo?" He ran to me and I caressed his hair."I'm going to be a warrior someday, mom." He sounded so happy and alive."Yes you are." I picked his nose and giggled.I took him inside, I found Evan standing by the door. Our eyes met, but I quickly took that off."Papa!" Leo was already reaching out to him."No...umm, you must be tired already. Go get some rest." My knelt down to his height and hugged him tight. He waved at Evan and walked away with the maid.I watched him until he was out of my sight and my smile faded."Lila..." I raised my hands and stopped him from talking before he could even start."...are you ever going to listen to me?" He said with a cracky voice."Listen to you?" I scoffed. "I'm glad you finally know there's a word named 'listening' and you actually know what it means." I brushed past his shoulder. He followed me around. He kept talking.I was deaf to everyt

  • His Rejected Mate, His Secret Queen   The Chosen

The following day, I woke up feeling different than usual.Different because unlike every other night, I slept peacefully without a nightmare and I didn't wake up to sweat curled around my neck. Everywhere was cool and quiet. For some moments, I sat still, trying to process all that had happened in the past weeks .And the feeling... I felt like a little daisy princess who had found her own prince. Gosh... I was loving every bit of it.I looked at Leo, he was still sleeping peacefully. I smiled at him and kissed his forehead gently.I got up from the bed, went to the window and pulled the curtain apart. Rays of sunlight filled the room, making it more cozy and lively. I smiled because it felt like the world was finally opening it's arms for me.I turned and glanced at the massive chamber— all mine. Well of course also Evans's but hopefully I have pursued him out of the chamber.I was no longer the omega sleeping in servant quarters. I was here, in the royal wing.I walked to the mirro

  • His Rejected Mate, His Secret Queen   The Royal Bloodline

I watched the pack gates rise like jaws ready to snap shut. We were back in Blackpine. Back where it all started. Only this time, the game had changed. The air was heavy with whispers. Everyone knew. The royal bloodline. The arranged union. My name rolled off their tongues like a warning.Preparations began the moment we stepped inside the gates. Servants rushed. Elders murmured. The castle bloomed with silver drapes and crimson flags—colors of unity, they said. But all I saw was betrayal dressed up in silk.Evan tried to approach me in the hall.“Lila, can we talk?”I didn’t stop walking.“Lila.”I turned just enough to meet his eyes. “Save your breath. We both have roles to play now.”“You’re angry. I get it, but we can—”“You chose her.”That shut him up.I left him standing there, looking like he just realized the cage he walked into. Good. Let it sink in.For days, the pack bustled with activity. Seamstresses fussed over fabric. Cooks roasted entire deer. Music rehearsals echoed

"Pick one, Evan. Me or her."Clarissa’s voice cut through the air like a dagger. She stood tall, facing him with cruel confidence.Evan looked between us—at her, then at me. His jaw clenched, and I could see his chest rising and falling faster."This is insane," I spat. "You can’t make him choose like this.""Oh, but I can," Clarissa said sweetly. "And he will."Evan didn’t say a word. He just looked at me speechless—and I knew why.He was angry.“Evan,” I stepped forward, but he stepped back. “Please. You can't let Clarissa manipulate you again for the second time. You can't succumb to her cruel demand.""I will, and I will do that right now.""Why? Why would you do this again, Evan?""You really asked me why? Fine. I will tell you why. Why did you keep Leo away from me all this while?""Really? I knew it. I know you have always been a coward. You, Evan, you rejected me and chose Clarissa in front of everyone, but somehow you think I shouldn't have kept Leo from you.“But I was going

  • His Rejected Mate, His Secret Queen   The Forbidden Realm

I don’t know where my legs were taking me anymore. But I kept going. The forest twisted around me... growing darker, thicker, and colder. Like it didn’t want me here. Like it was warning me to turn back. But I couldn’t...The scent of blood still smells faintly in the air... mixed with smoke and earth. Then I saw her—a hunched figure standing right in the middle of the path. She was cloaked in feathers, and her hair looked ancient, older than anyone I had ever seen. She held an old staff that dug into the soil like a root.“Lost something?” she said, making me jerk up in shock.I didn’t speak. I was afraid to—her face scared me.The old woman tilted her head slightly and went forward. “He’s not dead, but if you wait much longer, he might be…”“What? "Who?” I asked, my voice trembling.“Evan. I know you’re looking for him.”I swallowed hard. “How do you know Evan? Scratch that… do you know where I can find him?”“West of the Whispering Oak, you will find them there.”“Them? Who is the
