I'm Luna and I can take on anyone who will attack me from these bushes. I told myself as I braved myself for the inevitable.

'But my lady, I think it's wise if we went back home and got back up before we wandered deeper into this forest,' Snow implored while she stuck her imaginary tail in between my legs, and I scoffed.

'That will take too much time and we might not find Damon's faint scent later,' I responded curtly.

'But what if we get in trouble, who will come to our rescue since we know our Damon is taken,' she chimed in, her mindlink laced with sarcasm. my heart began racing wildly.

Snow was right. The dark forest was no place to venture alone, especially knowing the chances of walking out alive were very slim... But my mind was made up. if it meant dying for the people I loved so be it.
