Braelyn sighed in relief and plastered herself to the car door. However, she stole a gaze at him with hesitation, "He told me that six years ago, but he was the one to jump on me. Perhaps he's drunk again?"

"Braelyn." Cedric snapped in anger, which made her jump in fear.

"Sorry, I just need to confirm before someone says I threw myself and schemed at him when he had CCTV to discover the truth." She whispered, but her voice was loud enough for him to hear.

Cedric suddenly grabbed her chin which made her tremble. "He's about to get out of hand again." She whispered fearfully which made him more infuriated.

"If you don't shut up, I'll kick you out of here and that'll be the last time you'll ever come across me." He threatened which made her keep her mouth shut.

Coincidentally, the car had arrived at the car park, so he got down after muttering to Braelyn to follow him.
