Darian’s Point of View

Today, she walked through the wooden door looking unusually bright and refreshed. She held a thin white folder in her hands, flipping through my medical chart as she walked over to the edge of the bed.

  • His Rejected Wife: The Billionaire’s Regret   Chapter 260

Sienna’s Point of View“This is nice,” Orana said, stepping up to walk alongside me as I rolled my eyes. I had wanted to come to this place for so long, and now I was actually here.“Good morning! Welcome,” the woman at the studio entrance greeted us with a warm smile as we walked in. “You must be Sienna?”I nodded, returning her warm greeting. But as we stepped further inside toward the main room, I stopped dead in my tracks.Standing right in the center of the studio mat was the lead instructor herself.I couldn't stop the massive smile from spreading across my face as I walked over to my mat. The entire class felt like a dream. The lighting, the energy, the peaceful flow. It was perfection. When the session ended, the instructor stepped over to us. “Hi, I’m Khloe.&rdqu

Sienna’s Point of View“Can someone get this thing out of here?” Rachel shouted as she walked into the treatment room, snapping her gloves off with an annoyed pop.I glanced over my shoulder and saw Darian leaning casually against the counter, flashing a broad, blinding smile right at Rachel.Jesus, was it seven o'clock already? I looked up at the wall clock and rolled my eyes, turning my attention back to the man on the table whose deep forehead laceration I was closing up.Darian stayed rooted by the counter, quietly waiting for me to finish. When our eyes met in the mirror, he flashed me that same boyish smile. I couldn't help but roll my eyes again.“Your husband?” the patient mumbled, wincing slightly as I pulled the nylon thread taut.“Ex,” I corrected sharply, my heart doing a

Darian’s Point of ViewThe next two days went by in a blur. Sienna spent almost every single hour at the hospital. She held a thin white folder in her hands, flipping through my medical chart as she walked over to the edge of the bed.“The doctor said your vitals are looking great,” she said, a soft, encouraging smile gracing her lips. “If he signs off on this last blood test, you should be able to leave today—”“Sienna?” I cut in quietly. She paused, looking up from the chart. Her deep brown eyes met mine, glowing with that familiar, soft warmth that I had fallen in love with long ago.I pushed the white blankets aside and swung my legs over the edge of the bed. Standing up slowly, I walked across the cold floor until I was standing right in front of her

  • His Rejected Wife: The Billionaire’s Regret   Chapter 257

Darian’s Point of ViewI woke up to the muted hum of hospital monitors and the faint scent of antiseptic. My eyelids fluttered open, my body still feeling as though it were anchored to the bed by something heavy.I tried to sit up, and I met the pressure resting against my side.I shifted slightly, my heart skipping a beat as I looked down. A woman was fast asleep right beside the bed, her head turned sideways and resting gently on my stomach. Long, soft strands of brown hair spilled across the hospital sheets.Slowly, I raised my arm and buried my fingers into her soft hair. As the familiar scent of vanilla and lavender hit me, reality washed over my clouded mind.It was my Sienna. The moment my palm brushed against her head, she stirred. She pushed herself up, her wide, dark eyes fluttering open as she looked up at me. She froze, staring at my open eyes, her breath catching in her throat as relief washed over her features.“You’re alive,” she whispered, her voice trembling.A faint,

  • His Rejected Wife: The Billionaire’s Regret   Chapter 256

Sienna’s Point of ViewWhen they tracked down Darian’s location to this abandoned, rusted dock, I insisted on being here. Vaughn and the detectives had told us that Blaire came clean. After her call to me got cut off, she was chased by some men and ran straight into a police station, screaming that Darian was in danger and confessing her part in everything.I stayed behind near the tree line, my heart pounding against my ribs as I watched the dark, rusty barge swaying gently in the water. Vaughn and a dozen heavily armed cops stormed the boat. For a few torturous minutes, there was only silence. Then a sudden exchange of loud gunshots shattered the night.“I need a medic now!” someone roared from inside the metallic hull of the boat.“No... No, what happened?” I panicked, my voice cracking as I tried to break away toward the gangplank. I had refused to stay back at the office when they rushed to meet the police force here.I dashed the boat, but Sean caught me by the arm, wrapping his

Orana’s Point of View“Mama, you’re staring at me again.”I blinked, dragged back into the present by a small, sweet voice. My daughter stood in the middle of the room with her tiny hands planted on her hips, already dressed, already impatient. Her curls framed her face in soft chaos, and her green

Callahan’s point of view“Did you read the divorce papers?” My friend and lawyer, Maddox, asked as he walked into my office. It took her a fucking week to finally decide to send the documents back.I raised my eyebrows, wondering what he was talking about. I thought I just needed a signature, and I

Orana’s Point of ViewI knew Callahan hated people who didn’t keep time, and he said I had to meet him exactly at ten, which means I have less than two hours to eat, shower, and head to the other side of town with this traffic.By the time I was getting to his office, it was just fifteen minutes be

Orana’s Point of View“Are you ready for this, Orana?”The question cut through the low hum of the jet engines just as the door opened, letting in a rush of New York air. I didn’t answer immediately. Instead, I stood at the top of the stairs, my fingers curling tightly around the rail as my gaze s
