ADVIKA'S POV

I couldn't stay still anymore.

Time had stopped making sense here days melting into nights, nights into silence. I didn't know how long I'd been trapped in this room, counting breaths instead of hours, fear instead of minutes.

My chest felt tight. Then my eyes went to the door. I don't know why. Instinct, maybe. Or desperation.

I stood up slowly, my legs weak as if they might betray me, and crossed the room. Every step felt unreal, like I was walking through a dream I didn't trust.

Aviraj's pov I walked toward her slowly. She was laying with her back to me, still curled up on the floor."What the hell are you doing on the floor... and at this late hour?" I asked again. She didn't answer me. My jaw tightened. Why does she always manage to irritate me when I'm already trying to stay calm?I stepped closer and knelt down beside her. Without waiting for a response, I held her shoulders and turned her slightly so she was facing me."Adv..."The word stopped in my throat. Her face.Tears were streaming down her cheeks. Her eyes were red and glossy, and she looked like she had been crying for a long time. For a second, I just stared at her. What the hell? Why is she crying now? A strange irritation mixed with something else tightened in my chest."Why are you crying?" I demanded, my voice lower now. But even as I asked, something about the way she looked made my anger falter."I don't want to tell you," she said, her voice trembling and broken. I exhaled sharply. God...

Advika's pov The long black gown looked beautiful on me. I stood inside the trial room, staring at my reflection in the mirror. The soft fabric flowed down elegantly, hugging my frame before falling smoothly to the floor. For a moment, I almost forgot everything else and just looked at myself. It had been nearly an hour since we arrived at the mall. And in that entire hour, Dadi had bought more dresses than I could even count. Every few minutes she would hand me another gown and tell me to try it on.At first, I didn’t protest. But now I am exhausted.I finally opened the handle of the trial room door and stepped outside.Dadi was sitting on the sofa, patiently waiting for me. Her eyes lifted the moment she saw me. I stopped in front of her.“You look beautiful in this too,” she said with a small approving smile. Before I could even respond, she picked up another gown from the nearby rack and held it out toward me. My eyes widened in shock. Another one? I felt my shoulders slump.“P

  • His Revange Wife    Ridiculous idea

Advika's pov The washroom door shut firmly behind me. I stood in front of the mirror staring at my reflection. The phone was still in my hand. Does he really think I’m going to use this? Not gonna happen Does he think I’m that foolish? He didn’t give me this fucking phone out of concern. He gave it to track me so he can monitor me and also tighten the invisible leash he thinks I’m tied to. I looked at my reflection again No I will not let him control me like that. Mr. Monster Ranawat I will never let you control me or track me.My gaze slowly shifted toward the toilet seat. A reckless thought crossed my mind. You really believe you can control me through this device? Never. You may have dragged me here you may have taken me far from my home But you will not control my every movement. I looked at the phone once more. Then, without thinking anything further I threw it into the toilet. For a split second, it floated. Then I pressed the flush Water swirled And it disappeared. My heart p

I am sitting by the window again. The same window i always do . Only an hour has passed since breakfast, and I already feel like the day is moving too slowly. There is nothing to do here. No books. No phone. No conversation. Just walls and time stretching endlessly. But today feels different. Today, I am happy. Truly happy. For the first time since I came to this house, something inside me feels light.I am going outside. It sounds so small. So ordinary. For anyone else, stepping outside is routine Even for me, once upon a time, it was nothing special. But when you’ve been confined to the same room for nearly a month… even the idea of fresh air feels like freedom. Before I could drift further into my thoughts, the sound of the door creaking open broke the silence of the room. I turned my head slightly. It was one of the maids. For a second, I looked back toward the garden, assuming she had come to clean like usual. No one ever came to this room for any other reason. But then she spok

Advika's pov Warm sunlight fell directly across my face, pulling me out of sleep. I frowned and shifted slightly, unwilling to open my eyes. Can’t the sun stay hidden just a little longer?I turned to the other side, burying my face into the pillow and froze. There was someone beside me. My eyes flew open. For a split second, my mind refused to understand what I was seeing. Then it did. It is him. A scream tore out of my throat as I jumped off the bed instantly, stumbling backward until I was standing at a distance. He opened his eyes slowly, clearly awakened by my scream. There wasn’t even panic in his expression. Just calm awareness. From where the fuck he brings this calmness “What the hell are you doing here?” I demanded, wrapping my arms around myself instinctively, as if creating some sort of shield. He didn’t rush to answer.Instead, he picked up a pillow, adjusted it behind his head, leaned back comfortably, and rested his face against his hand all in one smooth, unbothered

Aviraj's pov “Advika, you may go to your room. I need to speak with Avi,” Dadi said calmly.Advika stood up immediately. She didn’t argue or hesitate. She almost looked relieved. I said nothing as she walked away. She left like someone escaping a battlefield. Of course she did. I knew how uncomfortable she felt during dinner. How stiff she had been under Dadi’s questions. She was afraid. Afraid of being judged. Afraid of dadi The moment she disappeared upstairs, Dadi’s gaze hardened.“Why did you marry that bastard’s daughter?” she asked directly. There it was. The real conversation. If Dadi hated her, it would make things easier and Cleaner. Less complicated. “I told you,” I said casually, avoiding her eyes. “Because I wanted to.” Even as I said it, I knew she wouldn’t believe me.“Liar,” Dadi said sharply. “I did not raise a liar. So why are you lying now?” I stayed silent for a second.“I’m not lying, Dadi.” She leaned forward slightly.“You married her for revenge, didn’t yo
