Authors POV

Jessica walked off from his presence when he gently steals a glance at her.

“Please, will you just keep your face revealed to me?” He pleaded.

She stopped at her pace.

“Please!” His voice comes pleading again.

She gently turned around while her hands went straight to the hood covering her hair.

She slowly pulled them off, hence revealing her bare face.

Robert gasped at the sight in front of him.

“Oh my gosh! She is beautiful.” His stomach twinkles and he felt some goosebumps all over him.

“I will marry you.” He said, wiggling his teeth.

“Then you have to give me something that is special to you. Like in the form of a pledge, it will serve as an oath.”

At the mention of “oath” he panics and nods his head negatively.

“Something special?” He asked.

“Yes.” She replied him.

“I do not think I have that.” He said.

“The chain around your neck, give it to me. I will serve as a bond between us that you marry me.” She stated out her point clearly, beating down each word.
