His Savior Epilogue
~Third Person~ Four months have passed quickly, and so much has happened. The Wild Tail pack quickly got over the loss of their known leaders. Everyone wasn’t on board with Cory as Alpha, but no one felt strongly enough to voice their opposition. Cory and Zahara made some changes to how the pack treated others as well as how they went about daily life. His Savior First Meeting
~Cory~ The sun is shining down on me as I float on my back in the river. The water is warm enough to make you feel like you are being enveloped within a warm embrace. There are no worries, no fears. Everything is calm. I, suddenly, lose my concentration and find myself falling. The water is covering my face and invading my nose. I can feel water in my throat and when I open my mouth to scream, nothing but gurgles come out. The water is no longer warm. It is ice cold and feels like a shock to my system. “Wake your ass up! I don’t remember my bed feeling so stiff and uncomfortable. I move around a bit, but it doesn’t seem to help. I can hear the birds chirping loudly. The rest of the morning passes by, but I don’t remember much. I’m in a bit of a haze and am not retaining anything I’m coming into contact with. It's been two weeks and it seems like Zahara and Cory are getting closer. They try to keep it from being obvious, but I have eyes and ears everywhere. I've been trying to figure out how to get Zahara to go for me, but nothing has worked. I talk to her everyday, but she is really standoffish. She is very polite, don’t get me wrong, but she doesn’t go beyond that. Hopefully, this party tonight can change things. The upperclassmen are hosting a party since we are getting closer to the end of the school year. I may have made sure that Zahara was, for sure, going to be in attendance.
