The meeting ended with Travis in a bad mood. I let him go ahead to his office because I needed to talk to Trisha. During the meeting earlier, I kept glancing at Trish, but she wouldn't look at me directly. It's surprising that she's late to this kind of meeting only now. It's not like her to be late. She's usually the one who arrives ahead of Travis and me in the meeting room.

Maybe she has a good reason for being late. Everyone else has left and it's just Trisha and me left. We're facing each other and I didn't bother to stand up.

She sighed and leaned back on her chair tiredly.

“I'm so sorry, Bes. I didn't intend to be late. I had something important to attend to earlier. Did something happen earlier that made my brother so angry at me? It seems like he's taking his anger out on me,” she said.

I leaned back on my swivel chair and let out a breath. She really knows his brother.
