Oh, so the inevitable meeting was tonight!
I rolled my eyes and curved down my lips, “Meeting? At this hour? Is he crazy?”
I said while throwing the towel on the bed, “Some of us work a full day and need a full night’s sleep.” I knew I was whining like a baby but …
“Hey hey. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen. The news is, tomorrow he is going to visit neighboring packs along with the Alpha King.”
The mention of Alpha King did some delicious things to my heart.
“Just get done with it, Alessandra. Tomorrow you can enjoy your ‘me time’ without any tension.”
Me time? That was good news.
