27- Rejection

I was among the clouds and could not feel anything under my feet. I felt so lightweight. Light-hearted. I wanted to stay there forever.

“Moo.” I heard Amerigo’s voice. But this time instead of crying, I chuckled.

“You are one naughty fellow, Amoo!” My heart that usually yearned for his touch was somehow at peace.
