Rule 25: White lies

“Oh, you’re awake?” He stopped, then continued, “I noticed your cheek was bleeding so I put some disinfectant on it before it will scar your face.”

“Oh…Thanks,” I said. Letting him do what he wants. I just watch him as he gently pats my face. I went in deep thought…if he happened to be my superior and not Wave, would I get attached to him also? What if he was the one who saved me seven years ago, would things be different? He may be a playfully flirt but Agent Rush knows how to treat a woman…he’s a great man…this is contrary to what I thought about him when I first met him. I hated him back then but now…He caressed my cheek, and look at my eyes carefully. I met his gaze but stopped when something rang.

He answered his earpiece, “Yes, dad?” He replied. "Yes, sir. We'll be back by dinner sir." I hear him saying before turning to me. "It's getting late, we should be back, Mr. Martins is looking for you."

“It is crazy how I am his own son but what he was worrying
