Chapter 9

As I begin to awake, my eyes flutters open. My vision is still blurred, but I can tell that my hands are bound by something strong.

Could be rope, but it’s so tight.

My vision finally clears, and I realize that I am in the back of a vehicle. It looks like it’s a van.

When I try to move my legs, I notice that my ankles are also bound. I look down at them, and I see that it’s a thick rope that coils around them.

I try to sit down, but the vehicle is moving and makes it hard to do so.

No one is here with me. I’m alone, and for a moment fear begins to creep in my heart, but I quickly shut it out.

I have been kidnapped, but by who?

I swear if Robert has anything to do with this, I will make it my life mission to skin him alive.

“Hey, I think she’s awake.” I hear someone say, but when I look around, I see no one.
