His Ungodly Touch의 모든 챕터: 챕터 1 - 챕터 10

“Jen Davis.” The disguised voice on the phone says, and then chuckles. “I heard you are the best of the best...and not just in the country, but also in the entire world. That’s quite impressive.” The voice continues.“I was not called for just praise, was I?” I ask him in a bored tone. He has been trying to contact me for the past two years, and now that he has finally gotten in touch with me, he plays boss on the phone.“No, of course not...I have a target for you.” He says and I smile. Finally, he’s speaking my language. He’s playing music that I can dance to.“Name?” I ask as I lick my lower lip. With memory like an elephant, I have no need to write down information. “Robert Jones.” The voice says, and even though it is disguised, you can tell that the person hates this man.“Title?” I pursue more information.“The CEO of STARS.” He says the name and something clicks in my mind.I know this CEO. I have watched him hold grand dinner parties and host big events all around the coun

Did this man just threaten me?I call his number again, but he does not answer. Chuckling to myself, I place the phone back from whence it came and I walk towards the windows.“It’s all going wrong.” I say myself as I skip the hard glass of my apartment window. Pain course through my palm, but I keep hitting the substance. After my fit, I’m left heavily breathing with a bruised palm. I slide to the ground slowly and I begin to cry.I’m not crying because I’m afraid for my life. Fear is not in my dictionary, and it will never be.I’m crying because I failed. I’m crying because for the first time in my professional career, I messed up.And all for what? Meaningless sex?But was the sex really meaningless? If so, then why did I lay in bed with that man until I fell asleep?I shut my emotions down for a reason, and because they’re coming back to life again, mistakes are being made. It’s time to fix all this. I sniff and I wipe the trail that my tears have left

This is literally the first time I have felt this way. Ever since my parents were killed, I swore to myself that I would never love again. It was hard, because I don’t think anyone can just shut down their emotions. But it became easy eventually. Each time the images of my parents dying before my very eyes flashed in my mind, I remembered that it was that day that my heart died. That particular day, Jennifer died, and Jen was born.Jen was what my father called me. It was his nickname for me, and I loved it so much.“Close your eyes, baby. Close them tight.” Were his last words to me.My parents were killed by my father’s best friend. He had no family of his own, and I think he was abused in his past.He was a very nice man. A very nice man until that day. That day would always remained in my mind. I remember everything as if it was yesterday. His name was Harrison Von. He was always at our house. He came to every dinner and birthday party. He was like an

I walk towards where I dropped my dagger when the police stormed in, and I pick it up and tugs it in my leather jacket.I should kill him, that is what I was paid to do. And it’s not only about the money, it is my reputation on the line. But I also don’t want any client thinking that they can control me just because they hired me, used a disguised voice, and made stupid threats.I fear nothing, and especially, no one.“Do you want me to?” I ask him and he gulps.“Well, if you’re talking about murder in the bed department..” He says with a grin as he scans my body.“Oh my gosh.” I say as I shake my head while smiling.“You are unbelievable.” I say with a small smile as I watch him.A few seconds pass between us as we both look at each other.“I like it when you smile.” He says to me, and a weird feeling covers my chest.I don’t know how to describe it, but I like it.I clear my throat loudly and I begin to walk towards the room’s window.“I am not

As I begin to awake, my eyes flutters open. My vision is still blurred, but I can tell that my hands are bound by something strong. Could be rope, but it’s so tight. My vision finally clears, and I realize that I am in the back of a vehicle. It looks like it’s a van. When I try to move my legs, I notice that my ankles are also bound. I look down at them, and I see that it’s a thick rope that coils around them.I try to sit down, but the vehicle is moving and makes it hard to do so. No one is here with me. I’m alone, and for a moment fear begins to creep in my heart, but I quickly shut it out.I have been kidnapped, but by who?I swear if Robert has anything to do with this, I will make it my life mission to skin him alive.“Hey, I think she’s awake.” I hear someone say, but when I look around, I see no one.“Let me see.” I hear another voice. My eyes finally lands on a small camera at the corner of the ceiling of the van. It looks like it’s motion det
