Maxwell
I hear my father dealing with one of the guards. “Please tell the bar owners that I am willing to pay for the damages my son and his friend caused, as long as they don’t go to the media. The last time he did something like this, it was a nightmare.”
“Are you sure you don’t want to leave them here for longer?” The guard asks.
My dad laughs, “I think that is putting more of a headache on you.”
“It’s no headache, they are just sitting in a cell. I think they both are sobering up. One of them got sick, I don’t know if it was your son or his friend.”
I look over at Taylor, covered in his vomit. My head pounds as my hangover sets in. My father tells the guard, “Please make all the noise you can while you get them.”
I groan as I know my father is going to make me as miserable as he can for the next several hours. The door bangs open. I kick Taylor and tell him to get up, that we are leaving. He stumbles to his feet. “Is your dad finally here?”
“Yeah, let’s go,” I tell him.
“Finally, how long were we here?” he asks.
Annoyed, I say, “I don’t know. I don’t even remember being arrested. Now stop talking, your voice is hurting my head.”
My dad drops Taylor off at his parent’s house, then we drive out of the city towards my father's estate. In a disappointed tone, my father says, “Do you remember anything from last night?”
I shake my head, “No. Can we not talk right now? My head is pounding.”
My dad slams on the brakes. The sudden jerk makes my head pound harder. “Damn it Maxwell! Your fiancé cheated, I’m sorry. For the last two years, I have watched you drink excessively. You have made an ass of yourself on more than one occasion. My PR team is struggling to keep you out of the press. You are going to end up in jail soon! Do you realize that? Do you care?”
“I’m just blowing off steam after work,” I tell him dryly.
“Max, I think it is time for you to be a man.”
I scoff, “Dad, from what I remember, three girls told me that I was a man last night. One even called me, Daddy.”
I can hear the level of anger and annoyance in my father’s voice, “When did you become such a pig?”
“They come to me; I don’t go after them. If you think I’m bad, you should hear what Taylor says.”
Letting out a sigh, my father says, “Your grandfather believes it is time for you to get married.”
I shake my head, “Can we talk about this later? I’m tired and smell like jail.”
My father gets back on the road and drives me to his house. He lives outside city limits in a brick-and-mortar home. I live in a skyline apartment in the heart of the city. “No, we are going to discuss this now. I can’t keep taking care of you.”
“So you want to get me a wife that way you don’t need to deal with me. I understand now, I will call Jessica. we can be married by tomorrow,” I tell him before he can finish talking.
“No!” my dad yells.
I begin rubbing my head, “Dad, lower your voice, we are still in the car.”
Taking a deep breath, my father says, “Your grandfather found a girl that he believes is perfect for you.”
“An arranged marriage?” I ask in disbelief.
My dad looks at me with a look I have never seen from him, it almost appears as he is giving up on me. “Yes. It worked for me and your mom. It got me to take charge and forced me to become responsible.” We pull up to my father’s house.
Angry and hungover, I say to my dad, “Where are you now, Dad? Your only son is a drunk, and your wife and daughter are dead. You live in a huge house by yourself.” I get out of the car, slamming the door. Not caring to listen to my dad anymore, I went straight to my old bedroom with a private bath to shower.
As I take a hot shower, I begin to feel guilty about how I spoke to my dad. After getting dressed, I find him reading in the living room.
Putting down his book, my father says, “The years I had with your mother were amazing. I was against getting married. I wanted to party and travel without being tied to anyone. Then your grandfather had me marry your mother. If I promised to treat her with respect and care for her, then he would hand the business over to me. I agreed. One day, I asked why he picked your mother; he said it was because she was kind. He said the same thing about Uncle Rob’s wife. Getting married made me think of someone besides myself. It taught me work-life balance.”
“Do I not do my job well? Why do you feel I need someone?” I ask, annoyed.
“You’re a better businessman than I, Max. But you’re arrogant, selfish, and irresponsible. You will be thirty in a little over a year. You can be successful in business, and it means nothing unless you have someone to share it with.”
“What if I don’t like her?” I ask.
My dad thinks for a moment, then says, “You can have an out if there is infidelity, she steals or embezzles money, or if she becomes physically violent. If you can prove any of those things happened, then I will allow you to divorce her, but you must try to be a good husband. After two years of being married, if you don’t like her, you can get divorced.”
“Then I get the business without you having anymore control?”
My father nods, “On the flip side, if you cheat, become abusive, or try to run this girl off, then you don’t get the business at all. I will leave it to one of Uncle Rob’s children or it will sell upon my death. Which means, they will likely fire you.”
“Fine.” I say. “None of my mother’s things go to her.”
My dad nods, “Not unless you specifically ask for anything.”
“Would it be better if I kissed it, kitten,” Max asked.“Yes,” is all I manage to say. All I want is for him to touch me and kiss me there like he did last night.Max plants a kiss on the top of my mound. I gasp as Max kisses my entrance. His tongue begins to explore, flicking inside me, then flicking my little nub.My head rolls back as Max tastes me. I try to keep my moans quiet, hoping Gwen doesn’t hear us. His tongue becomes firmer as it swirls around my clit. The feeling of pressure inside me threatens to erupt. “Da-… Maxwell,” I whisper. One hand weaves into his hair as my hips move against Max’s tongue. My body shutters as Max lets out a groan. In a low gravel, Max says, “Good girl, kitten.” I raise my head to look at Max. With a smoldering smile, Max says, “I’m going to clean you up now, kitten.”I watch as his tongue licks my opening, disappearing inside me. “Mmmm,” he says closing his eyes. “Do you have any idea how good you taste, kitten?” Max opens his eyes and watches me
MaxI kiss Ellie on the cheek, “Good luck,” I whisper before ushering her out of the elevator with a playful swat on her backside. She gives me one last nervous glance as she heads towards a conference room. Though I know Ellie will get the job, it is important she feels that she did it on her own.I quickly head to my office and grab a file Gwen printed for me before heading to my father’s office. “Here is the proposal I created for Allfor.” I say as I place it on his desk.“I’m surprised to see you at the office today,” my father said as he takes the file.“Ellie had her last interview today. She will start in three weeks, I will be back in the office a few hours every week,” I explained. My father looks up at me with a slight grin, “Then you should take her on a real honeymoon for your anniversary.”“You told me that I couldn’t ask off for anything else this year.”My father’s smile grows, “You weren’t following your contract. Why would I reward you?”“How can you tell?” I asked, a
MaxwellEllie and I eat dinner together. She smiles but winces slightly. “Are you alright?” I asked concerned. Ellie nods. Seeing she is having discomfort, I say, “I will be more gentle next time.”“No!” Ellie replies quickly. She pauses for a moment, then says, “I liked it. Especially at the end.”“The end?” I questioned.Ellie begins to blush, “Your pace changed. I… I liked it.”“It didn’t hurt?” I pressed.Ellie shifts in her seat, clearly embarrassed, “I don’t know.”I watch Ellie closely. She has a praise fetish. She seemed to really like it when I called her, “good girl.” Ellie has never taken care of her own needs. I believe she has ignored them to the point she has forgotten they exists. “What else did you like, kitten?” I asked in a low tone.“There wasn’t anything I disliked,” Ellie states as her cheeks turn a bright red.“Why do you get so embarrassed when talking about sex?” I asked.Ellie shrugs, “I only know what was taught in school. In the past I tried to read things,
Max is finishing up a call when I enter. I hear him get off the phone as I put the dress away. Looking at the bed, I notice the sheets are changed to a black silk set. My heart races as I lightly trace the top of the turned down bed.“There is still time to say no to me, Kitten,” Max says from behind me in a husky voice. His hand lightly wrapped around my waist. I feel him press himself against my back. Without thinking, I lean back, resting my head on Max’s shoulder.Pushing my hair to the side, Max lightly begins kissing my neck. I tilt my head and reach up to gently run my fingers through Max’s hair. “Max,” I whisper.Max stops kissing me. He spins me so I am facing him, then grabs the hem of my shirt. My shirt is off, and Max’s lips are on mine as I feel him fumbling with my pants before quickly pulling them down. He pushes me onto the bed before removing his shirt and pants.Grabbing my legs, Max pulls me to the edge of the bed. I prop myself up on my elbows as Max begins to rub
“Do you think tonight is the night?” Kendra asks as I look through the tops of the boutique.I shrug, “I don’t know. He is cooking dinner tonight. We told each other how we feel. I don’t know what happens from here.”Kendra pulls out a black and white dress. “Try this one,” she says as she hands it to me. As I am changing she asks, “Have you thought about protection? Do you plan on asking him to wear a condom?”I walk out in the dress, “I don’t know. I didn’t think about it.” Pausing, I say, “I have tried not thinking about tonight. My nerves start getting to me when I let my mind wonder on the topic. What if he doesn’t want to… you know, then I will look foolish.”“Just wear that lingerie, Max will be putty in your hand,” Kendra assures me. Looking at the dress, she says, “It needs a belt.” Kendra grabs a belt and a light sweater. After putting it on, she steps back to look at me, “Cute! It is very accountant.”“Do you think Max will like it?” I ask absently.Kendra smirks, “Trying t
I wake on the soft sheets of Max’s bed. Letting out a sigh, I sit up and stretch. For the last two weeks, I’ve been waking up in Max’s bed. He has slept on the couch since the incident with my mother. I hate how much it affected me. It isn’t that I’m afraid of being alone; it is that my room is close to the door leading to the terrace. I’m worried that Rex will find someone in jail to hurt me or Max.Walking out of the room to the kitchen, I start Max’s coffee. Then, walking into the living room, I raise my voice, “You did it again, Maxwell.”Max startles slightly. Opening one eye, he smirks, “I never agreed to stop. I just admitted to doing it.”Annoyed, I reply, “I told you that I wanted to sleep on the couch.”Shaking his head, Max says, “No, kitten, you said you wanted to sleep on the couch so I can sleep in my bed.”“I told you that I wanted to sleep on the couch; my reason doesn’t matter.”Max continues to smirk, “Kitten, it is far too early for your claws.”Kendra told me that
